This cat is actually really annoyed at the guy talking and hovering over it eating, as well as the other cat that joins later. It's sort of like when you try to take the food bowl away from a dog, they tend to growl and get angry. It's just an animal's defense mechanism to say, "BACK, THE FUCK, OFF."

So sorry to hear about your kitty getting hit. Please, everyone...cats are perfectly fine indoors! They avoid being exposed to the scariest, most deadly, most heartless and cruel thing of all: humans. And fleas, and cars, and disease, and other animals (non-human). Give 'em food, fresh water, a nice big kitty pan, and toys, talk to them, love them...and they are truly in kitty heaven. Also, neuter/spay (your animal shelter will do it cheap!); they live longer and are healthier.

@MsTimetowaste one its quite expensive to get them neutered or spayed but i agree you should have them done . Also my mum had a cat for 17 years and it never got hit by a car i think its quite mean to keep cats cooped up inside you wouldnt like having to be inside all the time.

@MsTimetowaste Although I agree with the sentiment of your comment, I don't think it is necessary to keep cats indoors in all scenarios. Places with little/no traffic and few predators are fine, and cats do enjoy a good romp outside :). My first kitty died at 17, nearly 18 (hereditary condition), and he always went outside & hunted (had a fox friend even..). My current boy is about 15, & seen 3 different homes/scenes of ours in his life. Still, I know where your heart was at!:)
