i belive this was the take that made tjhe final version...of course some parts changed, but i think like 90% of this take was used in the album. I love to hear christina's first recordings of the song...her raw voice is better than the final version..that's why beautiful is her perfect song. She seeks for perfection in the vocal production but she doesn't see that most of the time, little is better. I bet this christina will return in 2012, she's been through hell, now is time for the angel.

People, search information before say things that you don't know. The album track IS A DEMO. It's a one take demo, it's THIS demo. Then, background voices and other arrangements were made, but the vocals are these.

did ya'll know Courtney Love wanted this song as soon it was penned, way before it was even given to Christina in the 2000s. the song was around 10 years old when Xtina recorded it.

@al3xtrunks YES I HAVE THE FREAKING DVD when they were in the studio doing the song and Linda was talking about the song saying that xtina was her inspiration also the fact that Linda is gay so when xtina put the gay in the video Linda ask her why she made it gay thing when they were working on the song she told xtina to cut out the hand movement and riff N run she does she officially met xtina thru the lady M collaboration she also cowrote many song with xtina on the stripped album

Yes, she sounds.nice in a narrow range of an octave or less, where she doesn't have to push her voice to try to make it appear large, and doesn't have to scream or bark to try to reach big notes.

When she is crooning, it is a nice sound, when she attempts belting...that's problematic.

@gioavril92 this is the original demo for the song befor it was release to the album. this is the first time christina ever sang the song. from the very "don't look at me" to the end. all done in one take. linda perry said herself. christina was in a studio to meet linda and she brought a friend with her. and she said to her friend "dont look at me" because she was going to sing. it was never planned to be on the track. but linda wanted this song to be the original take. so wasnt over rehearsed
