Instead of trying to fly in a real game and crash with your whole squad in the chopper, just start a private match with a buddy or two

Nice vid, my flying in heli's r allot better. At first when id take off id be so excited about blowin some stuff up with the rockets that when i go to turn the heli i end up crashing it cut i forget to get some elivation lol so thanks for this vid its helped me allot since im a low level, keep em comin!

I can fly well enough, I just can't keep the thing stable for strafing runs. had the same issue in BC2 as well but could fly the blackhawk with ease then. Maybe Im more a transport helo pilot lol

@ThePS3Gamer22 Oh you must be so smart you knew immediatly how to fly the first time you tried it. It would be self-explanatory if you were able to practice with it without being in a game. I've only tred it once and crashed like an idiot 10 seconds after takeoff so now I let others take over so we don't waste a good heli.

I heard theres a helicopter in coop so once I get someone to do that too I can put my practice in. I wish EA was more beginner friendly for new BF players though.

Does anyone know how to dodge a locked-on missile if you've already poped your flares?

Ok this is just basic flying tips (which everyone should know). I want to know how to avoid getting hit by lock-ons (e.g. stinger locks, jet locks, other apache locks, AA tank locks). I hit flares, but another lock-on arrives and I'm fucked. Even if the gunner has flares too, 3 simultaneous lock-ons fired consecutively and you're fucked. Ok you might say go back to your base so they can't lock on. Then how are you going to get any kills from that distance? Basically, BF3 helicopters are ruined.

I'm not gonna lie, I feel like it is much easier to use Legacy stick layouts for both helis and planes. Might suggest that as well?

you can practice with bots on the fire from the sky co-op mission, it helps a lot

This is so weird. On the PC, moving up and down is the same button as forward/back. I wonder why they put it on the shoulder buttons on the consoles?

And if you want to learn how to practise this well, try doing the 3rd Co-Op mission. One person has to fly for the whole map, and the other must be the gunner, so you'll get lots of practise without hurting a team in a mid-match scenario.

I know how to fly the heli's thnx to bc2, BUT i dont know how to fly the jets PLS HELP ME, also if you want to practice flying go into co-op with a friend and pick the second mission. also for people spawn camping jets just put a hum-vee on the tarmac in front of it, trust me it works
