I hope the youtube deaf community continues to grow and makes more videos in ASL.

However, if you want to fight audism, you have to educate the hearing.

Imagine if every "deafie" on youtube had only one video not in ASL (using close caption or slide show) called "Are you an Audist"

This video would have to:

1) be simple

2) be directed to somebody who doesn't have the time to learn ASL

3) teach them to behave less like an Audist.

Imagine a chain of thousands of videos like this!!!

I think the deaf community has legit concerns.

and IF audism wants in dictionary, then it needs to open up, I suggest: anyone discriminates against anyone because their hearing level....our world isn't black and white and it is not hearing and deaf, there are BIG variety in middle

audism should be STOPPED, YES!!! BUT BUT BUT that goes for deaf against hearing, deaf against hard of hearing, cochlear against deaf, cochlear against hard of hearing, hard of hearing against hearing, and so on...it should NOT only for hearing against deaf...why we get your OWN word? Race don't, RACISM can be for any race, SEXISM can be for both gender, AGEISM can be for any age, CULTURISM can be for any culture,
