  • the keyboards solo = PURE ORGASM

    The best ever !!!!!!!!!!!

  • the maestros !

  • don't know what's wrong with music with 20 minutes for today... would be so great !!!

  • What the fuck did Jon Anderson think his stupid tambourine added to the song?

  • oh...Jesus...

  • Es una locura que lo cura todo. My favourite rock cantata. Great times, never back, just in dreams like these!

  • So...wonderful!Magical music!

    Yes:ETERNAL!

    Jack, from Brazil.

  • rick rules

  • thanx for keeping it alive!!!!!!

  • thank you i love the metal aspects of yes

  • thanks

  • Beyond words.

  • GREAT!!!

  • The best part by far is Wakeman's cape.

  • me encanta esta cancion, es muy buena!

  • Okay, so maaaayybe John Anderson is dressed as a blanket, but holy shit can he sing. I love these guys. I would've seen them at Jones Beach, but Anderson and I think Squire wouldn't be there due to health conditions. It wouldn't have been the same without them. Bless'em.

  • hard to believe that they earned more income from 90125 than all the other previous albums combined

  • the organ part where it shifts into the creepy minor part with the heavy guitar chords in the background always gets me! i love that!

  • An absolute musical masterpiece. Moving, exciting, lyrical, complex, and technically brilliant, with weight and depth! Not so much a "song" as a musical composition. I think Close to the Edge and Gates of Delirium are Yes's 2 masterworks, absolutely the pinnacle of progressive rock. And this is the best version of Close to the Edge with maestro Wakeman himself on the keyboards.

  • The Maestro Wakeman for you

  • I love Fleet Foxes because of this.

  • Loved it, but i really wish they would have used to full pipe organ for the part instead of just the keyboard, however still

    A work of Art!

  • Arghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kill me now! Perfection

  • its white.

  • @DuckNazi seen them at humphreys by thje bay in dago 99.9 % white thought i was in another country great show

  • One of the GREATEST concerts ever 1973...Fab forum....w/Poco.......Rock & Roll Hall of Shame is so clueless, has there ever been a band like this!? Too brilliantly creative I guess...Give me a break Hall morons..... Abba........Jimmy Cliff ,E even Genesis should have to wait! If u can create songs like Your Move, that can move the heart & soul...that's the requirement u need!

  • they were as gods who wrote this song

  • why doesn't it show the master rick when he's at work?

    Yes is beyond incredible.

  • What a wonderful, wonderful piece of music.

  • This was from Close to the Edge tour in 1973. The begining of the "Classic" Yes sound. My older brother and sister saw them at the Spectrum in Philly on that tour. I was only in third grade and didn't get to see them until '77 "Going for the One" tour.

My favorites along with Genesis,Rush, and Led Zeppelin.

    YES ROCKS!

  • there are no longer groups like this! geniously musicians! majestic compositions!

  • The first time I heard this album Close to the Edge, was in 1973 because here in my country releases from Europe came here with a delay of a year. We heard this song countless times for years. It´s a divine simphony , the best of Yes ! Fantastic English group.

  • Remember going to the local cinema with a bunch of friends stoned and watching this...I get up, I get up..I get up..Jon ain't kidding..

    Thus started my Yes fascination

  • I have searched the Tube upside down. This is it!!! This is the authentic version I remember from my younger days; note for note, beat for beat.!!! Thanks so much for posting. This is not ordinary music. This is the product of the amalgamation of genius. The version on the digitally remastered album has been irritatingly doctored at various nerve points and is not in the original format. This posting shows what Yes unlike any other band could do. ie. reproduce a Studio sound in a live concert.

  • i agree,........... BEAUTIFUL...."the eyes of honesty can achieve".....help us

  • This live was recorded on december 1972 at the Rainbow theatre, London, during their Close to the Edge tour. Absolutely unique the solo performance of Rick Wakeman between Close and Roundabout.

  • Immortal music

  • One of the greatest bands ever.

  • This Whole song is practically ORGASMIC!

  • @thecrimsonfloyd - practically? im changing my shorts as i type

  • one of the most greatest songs of all. What the hell they could have in their minds when they wrote this song??!!! just awesome...

    Big fan from Perú

  • I know that the lyrics and concept is loosely based on the Hermann Hesse novel Siddhartha.

  • I think that's from the «Yessongs» movie, same track as on the live album of the same name.

  • 'I get up, I get down'.

This helps me get back up.

  • it gives me the sense that im going really fast out of a jungle this song does, thanks of marijuna :)

  • Wonderful music!!!

Now that is all over and done

Call to the seed right to the sun...

    Yes...FOREVER!!!

  • Goes outta sync... damn

  • Fantástico........

  • incredible. favorite video on youtube.

  • Thank you toioba!!

  • that was fucking great.

  • jesus the god...how awesome

  • The informations hidden in this song are massive and deeper, beyond a normal human's consciousness. I would say that's divine from above.
