  • nice pajama

  • I want to be able to do that when I grow up

  • @SOCOMSoldier01 No problem, just train a little bit and find a nice partner who throw fake punches at you.

  • @neko2808 lol, dude. I've had these done to me before. The reason the guy is flipping around in the air is because if he doesn't, his wrist, elbow, and shoulder will pop and/or come out of socket. If you think it's fake, go to a Hapkido school near you and grab one of those guys and see what happens

  • i have been a student in wing chun for twenty years , black sash ,2nd grade i have never heard such rubbish spoken by so many on one page , who know""NOTHING"" so why do they waste there time making comments , , PLEASE" comment on your known -subject, and have a point, ""

  • Why are the opponents throwing themselves around on purpose? Obviously you cannot just twist a wrist and make a grown man make a barrel roll.

  • If you don't, that bone will break. You're basically put into a joint lock moving your joints in a direction they don't go.

  • this is effective for real fights but wouldnt do well againest mma or ringsport style.

U can tell by the way he pins him down/Knee and keeps his vision up.

but againest a trained judoka or bjj,he'll be disadvantaged.

also nobody jus grabs you.hit then grab, seems to be the way its really done,so a block should turn into a judo hold.,etc..

  • You start out doing the techniques from a grab, as you progress you learn to do them from a punch or kick.

  • @jumokdragon it would do well against an MMA fighter IF there were no rules, however in the Octagon there are no small joint manipulations allowed for safety reasons.

  • lol

  • this is hapkido right?

  • I can't see my grandpa doin this lol

  • 0:47 is a great display of the knowledge of body mechanics..mind you a lot of Hapkido is corriographed. Not to say the techniques are effective. More or less..if you're taking this style, you're in it for the body mechanics.

  • great technique .but he should also include a few striking moves rather than only grappling .then he will be invincible.

  • Sir; this is one of the best encouragement videos for old geezers like me I have ever seen. God bless...

  • le papy tu lui ballance un punch tu le seche xD

  • mdr je suis sur qu'ils on recrutez des footballer

  • bof le mec ce laisse faire..

  • di you people watch mma fights ...90% of the time the ground fighter wins...I know I've been in enough of them.

  • The Great Tribulation Will Soon Begin!

He Is Coming For His Bride!

    hismailroom....dot....com.....

  • cant anybody else see this is corriographed?... seriously, who flips with a twist of a wrist when u have ur back to them?.... i only noticed cause the "victim" kept on twitching their legs and arms.... i admit some techniques are helpfull but if u do the things they just showed....ull get ur ass kicked

  • Assasin4179 how is ju jitsu lame and retarded. its one of the best martial arts there is. any gd fighting in mma or anything has to get gd in ju jitsu beause judo not gd enother ya u mite throw them and mount them but then wat if they have a gd ju jitsu game they will just tap u out from them bk.

  • so true, if you wanna be good in mma you should learn ju jitsu or at least basic ju jitsu moves and techniques.

  • Interesting! thank you!

  • Truth: Any martial arts is good, but use one for the streets cause thats where ull need it.

  • how do you grab the arm of a maniac who is trying to pound you with bag strong rapid hooks?

  • the dumb ass who reaches out his hand deserves it... :P

And YES,i have a blue belt in Judo, armlocks hurts, REALY bad... Broke my arm once :/

Anyways, this type of style is realy just useless...

Meet up with a kickboxer, and youre dead! =)

Offtopic: Ju Juitsu, Karate, and Kung fu is SOOOO Lame, old and... retarded...!

    Peace out...

  • LOL that sucks ass if i wanted me and my m8s could do that! He lets him grab his wrist and then has to do a flip to prevent his arm from breaking! Bet the old man wouldn't do shit if u went up and twated him in the nose or even got him in a headlock!

  • wouldn't like to meet him in a dark ally way lmao

i think he'd make an amaizin grandfather-ur mates wouldn't take the piss out of him-lmao-he'd kick their ass

  • his skill is amazing....he deserves full respect from anyone.....their are alot of jeleous people out there that are younger that will never pick up this skill and to make themselves feel better, they have a sarcastic cheap comment.....take another look at this guy.....who's realy laughing??

  • agree with you completely on that one :D

  • dude that old guy is sick

  • you could probably kill the old guy if you punched him in the face.

  • ye but u could not possibly reach that stage of the fight cos u gonna b on the ground lying in blood

  • fake sushi

  • He is actually very talented at what he does, im only an orange belt in TaeKwonDo but that is very talented and he should be respected not taunted like some of you people are doing

  • At the 7 minute mark, grandpa broke his hip. They edited that out....

  • grandpa my mate.......would eat you for breakfast......then spit you out in bubles!

  • think how surpriced a pocketnapper would be:P can se hes face

  • Try doing that to Ronnie Coleman!!

  • Tapping his feet like that on the floor.

  • Have you ever been in a lock like that??! You'd be tapping your feet too! Feels like your wrist is gonna snap soon

  • can he fight BAS RUTTEN i dont htink so

  • This old dude can take you lunch money !

  • all those nice smooth throws come down to a wrist-, elbow-, shoulder-break (more of a dislocation)... might work most of the time, though in this demo the opponent is not resisting - simply by surprise!

  • 好勉強~~~~

  • it looks like theyre dancing until the other guys pinned to the ground...lol

  • lol an old guy dipping ppl

  • This is the funniest thing I have seen in a while. There's no way I could ever pull this stuff off, so props to anyone who can, especially any Sr Citizens.

  • I think it would be awesome seeing an old dude doing this to a jerk-off mugger in real life!

  • Is it true that if the person doesn't flip, he would have a cracked wrist?

  • very possible, if not cracked/broken an arm or wrist could very well hyper extend it or dislocate it.

Flipping in demonstration shows several things: shows how the body reacts and, protects the assaulter from serious harm.

  • more than dat

  • "Goddamnit bitch I'm not gonna ask again . Get me my MF pension !"

"Sorry sir we can't do that ."

"You asked for it ... AIIIIIIIIII !!!!!"

  • you know wrist control, and leverage and joint manipulation really do work, the cops use the old chicken wing everytime it works to take the opponet to the ground, with you over them, ready to stomp them out.

  • if the "bad" guy tried to something, all u have to do is break/twist/bend + kick/elbow/knee/punch that guy. you guys don't know how much having finger control (bending fingers) hurts.

  • 1:45 is beast. KOREAN PRIDE!! yes, it's true that in a real fight, the desperation and seriousness of the situation could blank your moves/techniques and make you scared. but truly experienced people (not just regular black belts.. like master master lvl) can actually use them in combat. u should realize that all those moves, the guy has control of the other person through wrist or arm,

  • dude that old guy is sick

  • man, what is wrong with their feet?!?!?

i think he's using both his hands and his feet to tap to tell the guy to stop.

  • I feel bad for the guy who was the dummy...He looks like he gets tired and weaker every time they do a diff demo

  • try working this on a real fight situation and you will get a surprise. it all looks good in a demo but .......

  • That looks pretty much like aikido though...,with the little articulation control style...

  • Well I feel sorry for the demo guy. Fantastic Style's. All I can say to those that doubt it's use in a real life confrontation is you've gotta see it to believe it... Put yourself in the demo guys shoes, do you really thing if you resisted he wouldn't be able to floor you? Worth thinking about. Great Video. Lot's Of Inspiration.

  • yes he'd be able to floor me but would he be able to block a good fast knee to the head? perhaps, or perhaps not. all of the techniques revolved around a 'grapple' in the beginning. I respect hapkido but, I am not afraid of it's practioners in a real fight situation.

  • man, what is wrong with their feet?!?!?

  • omg and LOL

its real alright but that dos not work

    on a real fighter ..

  • trhats just greatttt its not about how much muscles you have

  • wat aload of shit the kid not puttin any resistance atall he is letting him throw him. put them with any1 decent at jiu jitsu and he wud get hammard

  • that guy is mr miyagi

  • these are excellent arm lock techniques, but there are no defenses here for leg strikes, or any retaliation from the attacker. what do you do in hapkido if no one grabs you? gramps isn't going to outrun anyone :)

  • the only thing i see is a little exageration on the tap out

  • That's the Asian way. They make things that don't make sense!

  • thats cause you dont know how to fight and are very ignorant about things you dont understand

  • For those of you saying it is fake and that it wouldn't work is BS. I've been doing Taekwondo/boxing for seven years and I got to demonstrate with one of these guys. He just asked me to try and hit him. The only thing I remember is throwing a jab to his head with the cross coming right behind it. The guy had me on the ground before I could blink and I was tapping out. So yeah, it is not fake. And it is even cooler to see someone of that age able to do that.

  • see. the problem with this is that no one stops swinging immediately after the first punch.

  • haha! Nice! Aikido is FuN!

  • old man kicks ass!!!

  • are there any moves you can recommended for a wheelchair bound senior citizen such as a roundhouse spinning wheel kick or 5 finger spoke thrust? also how can i defend myself against an advancing crazy wheelchair bound knife weilding maniac?

  • who the fucks going to stand there and let him twist your wrist so fake and would never work in a real fight

  • i don't see seniors do that

  • This is a good reason NEVER to mess with seniors.

  • the old guy seems a bit rough on the younger guy, i mean all they want to do is shake his hand

  • wow that one IS sweet! i agree that the whole thing is kinda staged, but that man has some really cool techniques.

btw this would definitely work in a streetfight. hogsls1fun, no technique is too complicated! after all, its all a question of practice. besides, if one succeeds in a fight, doesnt depend on his fighting-style.

  • lame video - you cant do that in a real street fight - he just stands there and get raped by the old man - lol learn2fight

  • yea i dunno.. looks good il give em that but its to fancy to complicated i dont think alot of it would work in a real streetfight stick to basics i reckon muaythai is great like 1 guy said mma rules!

  • the old guy is fast and smooth, he passes on at least 1 chance to pop an elbow or shoulder during each takedown... if the agressor didn't move with the old guy so well he'd be be in serious pain and up for some re construction... good work old boy, two very enthustiastic thumbs up :)

  • I do hapkido since 4 years, so just 3 things:

    1. If you dont move like the guy does, you wrist will be awfully broken, simple.

2.If the hapkido guy misses the grab, no problem, we practice more combat than grabbing techniques.

3Nad to sum it all up, when I usually combat(train) with ppl of other martial arts(boxing, valetudo, taekwondo), they tell before starting: "just kicks & punches, no grabs ok?". So just get informed before posting :P

  • lol its funny how uneffektiv it is

  • 1st: The attacker is not showing any resistance, basically he´s like a living dummy.

2nd: If u miss one single grab ur pretty much f"·ed, those are just coreographyc movie tricks.

3: If any of u readers disagree with me, pls look up for Muay Thai, Muay Boran, and Elephant boxing.

Were talking but effective ways to dispatch bullys or else, just take a look

  • this is and awsome display of martil arts.i asked my master the same question about pummeling in full force instead of just one punch and stop rutine i still regrest it as i was told to do it and i got fucked. its slow and hold so that u dummies can c and understand wat the master did.

  • ha ha...these styles are for advanced fighters...westerners learn how to beat someone down and forget that this is only the beginning of their journey.

  • This demo is awesome. The Old boy is fantastic. Those that make negative comments clearly do not understand the martial arts.

  • Master Hwang Ing Shik teaches in Toronto. I was his student for many years. It's hard to tell from the low quality vid - but I don't think that is him. Master Hwang has a bit more flair. To all the guys making negative comments based on a demo ... you wouldn't be saying the same thing after seeing this man in action. Old or not, he is the real deal.

  • its amazing to hear ppl who refused to believe what fighters did in the MMA ring, yet an old farts who do staged demo can make them go wow..

  • Fighters in MMA fight ring fight by rules. They utilise strength and possess no technique. In this there are no rules. Give these guys some respect.

  • Staged demo has no rules.... as opposed to MMA ring..

    You guys are funny ~~

  • The old man is very good and slick. However, notice that he makes several motions before the attacker is subdued (during this time the attacker in the demo kindof freezes in time) Would a real life attacker wait to be thrown down or let him hold the hand. I would throw more than a couple of punches to take his face off in a split second and not hold hand with him(of couse he probably use different techniques on me)

  • You all know nothing about Hapkido. What you are watching is a fraction of what that old man can do. Ing Shik Hwang. Look him up.

  • lol TELL manz how iz dat useless dat wud stop sum1 lol?

  • Learning hapkido is your first step on the road to getting stabbed. It's make beleive choreography.

  • ha ha...these styles are for advanced fighters...westerners learn how to beat someone down and forget that this is only the beginning of their journey.

  • What the hell are those telegraphed punches? It's amazing for an old guy tho, even tho it's useless.

  • it's a demo, not a fight. I don't know why people fail to understand the concept of demo. He's an old man. Besides, most of the demos are from grabs, not even from punches. He looks a lot slicker than pretty much anyone i've seen do aikido or shuai jiao demos.

  • ha ha...these styles are for advanced fighters...westerners learn how to beat someone down and forget that this is only the beginning of their journey.

  • damn thats amazing

  • oh my god awesome T_T and aah that guy almost cries in pain
