Yes and no. You can zoom with one of those weapons, but right after you let go of the button, it will fire too.. So its not the zoom as we know it, but more like another shooting mode.

Hello Galtz! What version of Alien Arena is this? I think the current one is v7.21 IF I'm not mistaken. Yes, this is a VERY cool game with funny animations. At some point in the past year though, they introduced a more serious, darker theme to the game. I haven't tried out the newer ones.

Basically it says everywhere differently. However, when i was making a gamepedia for iyf gaming, then i checked my own alien arena folder size. It shows 530mb. Of course i have some extra maps and stuff. But still. 500mb is the most safest to say. 200mb sounds bit weird.

If your on your computer then you have a video card. If you havent personally or professionally had a video card installed then more than likely yours is intergrated into the motherboard. Alas if your computer isn't terribly ancient it should run this game anyway

Are your firewalls on? Do you have some special protection in your PC, like NOD32? You have to check if they are allowed. And maybe the windows firewall doesn't block it, but the protection program does. So check does and let me know what happens. It should mean, that the game is being blocked out by some firewall or something.

Ok cool:) The guns are all pretty much sucky, the best of the best is the laser gun, not with the single beam, but the one what will shoot a beam so long as you hold the button down, that gun is just sick. You cannot miss with that. Others mostly suck, but in MP the single beam laser is kinda good too, but u have to learn to jump and shoot, when in 1vs1 Close-Range-Shooting. One way is to crouch a little, it sometimes helps.

You can use TS with every game, even with singleplayers. You are thinking "how" right? Just forget about the ingame TS systems. Download a TS program and get TS server. Now that's pwning. If you don't wanna be so serious gamer, then get Xfire messenger and use the Ts/voice system there. So yes, you can use voice in Alien Arena!

Like that game called "Phosphor". It actually really seems to be like Alien Arena.. But i think they have some bugs in there multiplayer systems, since it doesn't wanna work very nicely.. And the problem with LAN connections.. Damn..

I never had problems with dieing. This game is like it is, if you die then you die, but when crouching and hitting the right timing, then you can really kill someone fast. But of course don't stay crouched..you have to jump around and stuff, but then...right timing and boom: crouch+shoot=kill

You can put the singleplayer on hardcore mode, but im pretty sure that with the lasergun you will own even then, so the most hardcore ingame action, is still online..

Yes and also a singleplayer. This current video is made offline in singleplayer. But you of course can play it online. Online you will have lots of new maps and weapons. So if your pc isn't "the bomb", still this game will run just fine. Gameplay is bit boring, but its fun to single-shot your best buddies and later rub it in there faces:)
