Are you joking? Why Hungarians using patriarchal double cross of Byzantine which was brought to Slovaks by Cyril and Method to Great Moravia Empire and it is used as symbols of Slovaks ever since? Why are you not using plain cross of Rome from where you got christianity or just red and white stripes of Arpad or your bird Turul the goose? Your coat of arms has ancient Slovak symbol on it and it is good at least it reminds you who is the rightful owner of all Hungarian territory-Slavs=Slovaks

In 1728 Hungarian nobility posted in newspaper article according to which Nobility from Slovak regions should be subordinate to Hungarians because they been conquered. Slovaks hired lawyer Jan Baltazar Magin he and wrote back in "Apologia" that they are here from Great Moravia and been here sooner than Hungarians so they should have equal or more rights. Hunt-Poznan (Hunt-Pazmany) is Great Moravian noble family. Till 1016 Slovakia had special status as Tertiapars Regni with Nitra as capital etc
The Gesta Hunnorum et Hungarorum ("Deeds of the Huns and Hungarians") mentiones that the ancestors of the family (the brothers Hont and Pázmány) arrived, in the late 9th century, to the court of Grand Prince Géza of the Magyars from the Duchy of Swabia (in the Holy Roman Empire).The Tercia pars regni was governed by the Árpád-dinsty's dukes, nothing to do with slavs. Even the name "slovak" was created in the 16th century,before that they are "tót" or "taut".
By the way, the Gesta Hungarorum and the turkish Tarih-i Üngürüsz ( Origin of the Magyars) shows that the ancestors of the Hungarians are the Huns and the Avars. So the Hungarian continuity is from the 5th century. Show me one gesta or codex that made by "acient slovaks", or any reference of the origin... and i did not mentioned the Old Hungarian script, in the Carpathian Basin more than 5000 years old hungarian scripts were found....

Hungarians introduced a theory that they are descendants of Huns and Avars..international scientific community laugh Hungarians off because there is simply no connection at all..when they failed interesting genesis of Hungarians denials of Slovaks started..new theory: Great Moravia wasn't here (tons of archeological evidence destroyed that) So another: Slovaks are not descendants of GM etc :)
I just said that the Great-Moravian origin is not accepted internationally too. You study that in Slovakia, we study the Hun-Avar origin in Hungary. That is fine, everyone is trying to find an ancient origin. And we are proud of our ancestors. But it is shameful that we always arguing around the same thing. :) Did you know that slovaks and hungarians fought together against the Habsburgs in Rákóczi's War for Independence? The problem is politics and the injustice of Trianon.

For us Trianon is freedom for you injustice...this will remain like this. But for example in Slovakia ordinary people, Slovaks and Hungarians are living in peace and harmony for centuries, they don't care about nationalism but they remain humans and preserv better values of humanity in their existence...you are right the problem is politics.
Yes I agree with that.Under the injustice of Trianon I mean the treaty did not cure the problem of minorities.Because I totally agree with that the Slovak nation wanted an own country,totally fine.But in 1920 the south of Slovakia was 95 % Hungarian, and I think that is the injustice and the problem that they created huge number of minorities again inside a new country. So that is why we prefer the Vienna awards, that we got back the Hungarian majority parts, like southern part of Slovakia.

Maybe you think that the double cross is slovakian, because it was typical of Felvidék (today it's slovakia). But the slovakians didn't exist in the Carpathians in the Middle Ages. It isn't your mistake, it's the slovakian education's mistake
