this is a mod a normal ps2 does not load a game unless the lid is shut. FACT

u prob screwed up in the step where u have to transfer all the music files from the game to the custom disc

no u see it worked for me i got it on the first time i tried it with a DVD+r first and it didnt work and u must wait for it to speed up like he said and u MUST also use SONY DVD-Rs it will not work otherwise like i said i tried with millions of others but first time i used sony it worked like a charm!!! so listen to him

This is bull. You can only use the swap trick on GH3 unless the new custom disc you make has a smaller file size than the original. Most of the time it is going to be bigger. If the new disc isn't smaller in file size than the original, it will not boot with the swap trick. You will only get a black screen. Sorry. You would be better off by getting swap magic. It's a lot cheaper and you don't take a chance of ruining your ps2. I know these things. View my youtube. Check iso before making disc.

i did this numerous times and i get it in fine and all but the laser doesnt move after the swap, except when i turn it off the laser moves back as normal poweroff. any help will be appreciated, thanks

I tried this and it gets to the loading screen like you showed, but thats as far as it goes. It goes to the very end of the loading and then stops. Nothing happens. I even left it on to see if it just takes longer booting a hacked copy. But nope. I'm hoping its because I'm not using sony. But they're god damn expensive... GRRR...
