Maybe some of excorcism cases were actually schizophrenia, but many aren't. I christian and am open to other people's opinions, but think you should look into the subjects of excorcism, god, and paranormal activity and perhaps your view will be changed. Have an open mind and remeber: God has been around longer than science.

I've studied it some, and I'm studying psychology in grad school, but I've studied the Bible much more. I will tell of my experience with demons in another post since these are limited to few words.

It wasnt visible since it had no host body but the pure evil of the demon penetrated right to my spirit oppressing my whole being like nothing I'd ever felt. Immediately I did what I said to do in the other post. I also asked God to choke the demon & I heard a choking sound. Then I fell asleep at peace.
I don't understand why the priests interrogated her/the demons. Anneliese's ability to stay with her body was dwindling. As the Clergyman set aside his purpose, as exorcist. Anneliese had been starved and her needs, ignored. Instead an interview, this man of the cloth, conducted with the Lucifer. Why he did not clean Anneliese, and provide her with, fresh almond milk and fruit? Instead he got into a drawn out, pointless conversation with The Lucifer. And that was his own ego, contributing to Anneliese's death.
I'm sure if the exorcist could be interviewed he would say that Anneliese's welfare was always prioritized, but it just wasn't her that was in control of her body. But you need to understand that to draw a conclusion that a foreign intelligence is truly in her body, we need very hard evidence. It's dangerous to simply assume that she had no knowledge of Latin because it is very possible she could have learned it. And you're right, terrorists are not the best people to compare to a woman suffering from a psychological disorder, but beliefs do have a very powerful effect on behavior. This can be seen in all religions and ideologies
I also think that doctors have to first rule out every possible brain abnormality, such as tumors or lesions on the brain. Pressure on the brain can wreck havoc on the psyche, so it's entirely possible for someone to believe they are possessed. Even so, a user on another video pointed out that only women seem to suffer from demonic possession. You never hear of cases from men.

For example, at 05:25 - "da dürft ihr Gift drauf nehmen" is an idiomatic expression and has nothing to do with poison (in its meaning); it just means something like "you can bet your lives on that". And the translation for 02:28 would be: "But those bastards always prey! That might be good for them one day." 06:04 would rahter be: "... to that bastard in Würzburg".

@travman1987 I believe that mental illness happens to some people and that the brain is extremely powerful, but I do believe she was possesed. Maybe some of excorcism cases were actually schizophrenia, but many aren't. I christian and am open to other people's opinions, but think you should look into the subjects of excorcism, god, and paranormal activity and perhaps your view will be changed. Have an open mind and remeber: God has been around longer than science.

It wasnt visible since it had no host body but the pure evil of the demon penetrated right to my spirit oppressing my whole being like nothing I'd ever felt. Lucifer, Satan & the Devil are 3 seperate entities as are Jesus & St. Michael & the Archangel Metatron (The latter are not brothers that I aware of.) They may be one by family or love union or something else that we have yet to fully understand but they are seperate beings.

Tell me something catholics, why do you pray to mary? Why do you bow down to the pope? And why do you confess your sins to a priest? God says you are to not bow to, nor worship anyone except HIm. Also from what I've learned, no man can ever pray enough nor earn another inidividual's forgiveness for their sins....

@JJ1for1Christ I'm either agnostic or maybe even closer to atheist. But was raised Catholic and my dad is a devout Catholic(unlike others he is one of the smartest(maybe naive) people you will meet and doesn't judge,) and I asked him the same question + why do we have saints? The loop hole is that Catholics ask Mary, Saints and the Pope to pray for them. They don't worship or rather aren't meant to actually worship these people. Just hold them in high regard. The line is rather fine.

Anneliese's ability to stay with her body was dwindling. As the Clergyman set aside his purpose, as exorcist. Anneliese had been starved and her needs, ignored. Instead an interview, this man of the cloth, conducted with the Lucifer. Why he did not clean Anneliese, and provide her with, fresh almond milk and fruit? Instead he got into a drawn out, pointless conversation with The Lucifer. And that was his own ego, contributing to Anneliese's death.

I'm sure if the exorcist could be interviewed he would say that Anneliese's welfare was always prioritized, but it just wasn't her that was in control of her body. Then again maybe the exorcist was in fact ignoring her for the sake of a glorified battle against evil. I;m sure such concerns would've been voiced throughout the trial though. I'm quite a skeptic, but after watching this and few poltergeist vids, supernatural is quite likely real but idk sigh faith vs reason

But you need to understand that to draw a conclusion that a foreign intelligence is truly in her body, we need very hard evidence. It's dangerous to simply assume that she had no knowledge of Latin because it is very possible she could have learned it. And you're right, terrorists are not the best people to compare to a woman suffering from a psychological disorder, but beliefs do have a very powerful effect on behavior. This can be seen in all religions and ideologies

I also think that doctors have to first rule out every possible brain abnormality, such as tumors or lesions on the brain. Pressure on the brain can wreck havoc on the psyche, so it's entirely possible for someone to believe they are possessed. Even so, a user on another video pointed out that only women seem to suffer from demonic possession. You never hear of cases from men.

@BlueberryHearts Very good point. Information like this must be taken into account before immediately labeling something as a possession without any other possibility. I personally don't know whether it was a possession or not, I just think that the evidence presented does not allow us to draw a conclusive diagnosis.
