@takinadeuce boston are not queers, although that's just my opinion. and twisted sister ain't my kinda band. i'll agree that zep's earlier work is better, but for me ten years gone and kashmir alone make that album amazing. that's not even including all the different types of experimentation they were doing with songs like trampled under foot. in my opinion, i kinda like graffiti more than led zeppelin III, although that's an amazing album too.

@TSunce nothing stopped, life was merely taking its course. i dont see it as a pity. led zep had a fantastic run and inspires me every day. one of the few bands i can actually say the name of and feel "gods grace" in mentioning such a phenomenon. i read on another video where someone stressed that led zeppelin is the very essence of nature. you could say that ALL good music is"led zeppelin" that the sun is led zeppelin. this is a great band, but human history created them, im sure

@feztizieo As horrible as it may sound, the death of Bonham is one of the things that makes Led Zeppelin such a great band. It's almost a fairy tale ending really. Think of the alternatives. They get into a dispute about money, they continue touring acdc or rush as they get older every year, something stupid happens between them, etc. Bottom line here is, they had a great run and it ended at a perfect point. And the bands rep isn't tarnished by how they broke up, in fact it's enhanced.

That alone forever states that those 4 men were bonded to eachother, and that the loss of one meant the end of they could not continue.

@LedZepp1109 hmm okay since we're discussing, i did think about those alternatives you described. i dont believe that anything would have happened between the band members that would be stupid, because at a concert like led zeppelin, anarchy is literally below the surface of the whole thing. they understood that, that they were bound together by magic. i dont think Bonzos death cemented too much. Even by 1970 they must have understood that the 4 of them were touched by magic.

@LedZepp1109 and goddamn, theres alot to consider about all of this. the fact that zep came out of the hippy revolution, and kept that spirit kindled within their music. god what a fantastic band, the fact that we're constipated in saying whats what yet we are only scratching the surface of the whole thing. its not just about them, its about the world, generations coming of age, which is still relevent today. im 20 and am going to be one of the great guitarists of the generation.
