@WishMasterPtolemy No, I meant paying for the house and all the upgrades. For ingredients I've just been robbing houses/stores and stealing food along with all the freebies at the Mages Guild places. My character is stealth-based, so this is a tedious, but easy task to do.

Btw, nice layout. You must have extreme patience for placing those books. I'll probably just throw them in a chest.

@benfn33 Anything you drop in Oblivion will stay there forever. However, if you use it as ammunition it will disappear - arrows for example, so it has to be actually intentionally dropped. This applies outside your houses too.

@superliontiger12 Thanks. As for raising money fast, there really isn't any particular way. Potion making is probably the best when you're a lower level, just make lots of two ingredient potions and sell them to shops.. other than that.. level up, the money will come.

@superliontiger12 Depends what you want to do. You'll probably want a house long before you can afford the Skingrad house, as it's the most expensive in the game. The Anvil house does give you free furniture after a quest, but it costs 5,000 coins. Where as you can buy the waterfront house in the imperial city for something like 2,000 and get the chests for it for about another 1,000. Anvil is a much nicer house, but waterfront is cheaper.

How did you get the golden saint armor? I have Dark Seducer but it looks stupid on men compared to how golden saint armor looks on men. I'm trying to go for the paladin look.

So please tell me where you got it and any other armors you know of that are paladin like.

@EmWhyEntertainment I forget which side it is, but whatever side you went with to get the dark seducer armour, you have to go with the other one, they're mutually exclusive unique armour sets. I got both using testing hall. As for Paladin like.. I love mithril armour. It's pretty weak, but if you put some enchantments on it, like shield, then it can become half decent - as good as the dragon armour anyways (that stuff sucks for being so pretty).

@linky628 Level up, the higher your level, the easier it is to get money. Raid dungeons, complete quests, sell your loot. Find a good fence and steal stuff from people's homes. Getting money is pretty easy.

If by taking objects from the testinghall I somehow make my house "fake", then so be it. But a bigger clue is that you can't get the Elder Scroll without testing hall...

The only thing that impressed me about your house was your fantastic collection of books. Whether you got them n the field or by cheating I'm still impressed of what you did & you have them in order. The Adoring fan did make me mad because he kept knocking a shield off a window sill. So of course he was taken to dive rock and I think we both know the rest >;).
