I had the privilege of seeing them for the first time in April, after being dragged to the show by my best friend. I had an amazing time, and I completely blown away.
I was lucky enough to catch teenage head when they were here this summer. They played a great show and definitely got the crowd going. I got to meet Frankie after the show. He complemented me on my leather jacket and apologized because his voice was almost completely gone and he could barely talk. I also got him to sign my cd. He struck me as a really nice guy. R.I.P. Frankie Venom!
RIP Frankie, the only man we all have been spit on by and havn't complained about it! What a kick as Punk Rock Master Front Man He Was! Frankie, Gordie, Steve and Nick (originally) had a magic combination of talent, songs and energy that has captivated me from the age of 12 until now and that captivation remains as strong today as it was when I first saw them at Notre Dame High School in the early 80s. Good bye for now Frankie. How I regret missing their shows the last few years!ThanksForThePost!
I remember a show in west Toronto when Joey Ramone came out and sang a few songs with Frankie and the boys. What a great night seeing those two sing. Thanks for the memories Frankie. All good things must come to an end. RIP
Wow! I havent seen Frankie in so long, freaked me out when I heard on CITY TV that he died of throat cancer.
I used to know some good friends of his back in the late 80's and lived in the same house with one of them. Frankie popped over several times and there would be a lot of drinking. He was a good guy and great to party with
WOW What else is there to say one of the best str8 out of the Hammer.
From all the Hammer heads out west God bless you Frankie.
