what is the varnish you use for this, is it the veniards I see at Glasgow Angler? And, is that where you get most of your supplies for your patterns? thanks

Yes it is Veniards clear varnish I used in the video, I put it into a bottle I have with a brush. I do buy a lot of materials from the Glasgow Angling Centre but as well from many other places....

Hi Davie, I tied a few of these flies a few days ago. I used them today for the first time at Manningford. The trout went bananas over this one. I have fished quite a few places not just in the U.K. and would love to wet a line or have a chat with you sometime.
