  • At l'Empire, not Le Palace. Filmed for the French TV program Chorus.

Patrick Verbeke on guitar, Jacky Chalard on bass, maybe Crazy Lord Sutch on piano, unknown on drums.

I saw him in 1980 at the Olympia. Great.

  • @antonsylvain peut christophe deschamps à la batterie

  • j'ai vu Vince a Lens Pas De Calais

  • superbe clip. Vince Taylor Forever.RIP.Merci.5*****

  • BluesmanDizzy - your comments are not exact ! Vince was not drunk - and not worse !!!! he was beginning to be ill, and died 3 years after and is still considered, by specialists, as A GREAT ROCKER !!!

  • Oh So Underated, A great BRITISH rocker!!!!

  • the best with Johnny Kidd

  • Actually, Vince died in 91. He'd already had his breakdown and was performing occasionally. He may well have been medicated in some way. It is said he died during the happiest period of his life. Not a great singer but he was cool.

  • @feargal75 He passed away 12 years after this was recorded. More often than not, he was bafflingly incoherent and erratic on-stage, in lter years. He had so much charisma! I just love him!!!

  • 1000 stars for the King of Rock and Roll!

  • c'est pas au palace mais à l'empire pour chorus

  • Vince Taylor the true King of Rock and Roll! You may keep the others...

  • Embarrassing!

Vince forgot all about the lyrics here, made up some as he went along.

Sounds like he was drunk-or worse.

He never was a great singer, but an excellent live performer in his hey day.

His stage show was sensational. He seems to have lost all of that here.

    Sorry to see that.

  • @BluesmanDizzy not drunk but very ill. He died of a cancer. Not from drugs or drink.

what the problem with the lyrics ? he can changed it no ? I prefer the vince cover to the original one by Fatty Domino.

  • @eugenecraddock well yes probably by drinking i had the chance to see him and talk to him for an hour he was drinking..whyskies and .....ricard whitout water!! i loved him.
