i went back and watched the video to make sure. he missed no cues throughout the whole song. what you think are missed cues are actually times when there is no bass playing in the original. it seems like he misses one at 2:34 but actually thats a short rest (when the keyboard falls in the video). also, he's moving all around the fretboard bc there are a ton of intermittent slides. you cant play this song and stay low on the neck. watch his right hand closely. you'll see he's really playing this

@fdr100 People move their fingers down the neck when there is a rest so that way their fingers are still active instead of being passive and sitting there. It helps some stay in beat while it does nothing for others. My bass teacher does it.
