  • The living/dining room is very nicely decorated.. I luv the colors....its a more modern room than alot of the homes and flats that they've shown in Britain.....majority of the homes has that God awful flowery wallpaper, awful looking carpet dated from the 50's/60's, doillies on chairs, old-fashioned thick curtains or those stupid lace curtains...

  • And I hope this man has kept the flat clean like this, if he doesnt wanna do it for himself at least do it for your dog if you love him, he has no choice!

  • They are seriously two miracle workers...

  • Holy crap lol.......that bathroom is beautiful......it's like night and day.....out of all the episodes that has to be the most transformed bathroom on the show.

  • @lee1974gravyboy Yes. Thankyou. I told Santa, just last week, I told him to visit the British first so they could stop hating on the American's so much. But yet we always come to rescue them. Ain't that funny.

  • MILFS hahahahahahahahahaha

  • this is the UK. I wonder if all their homes are that small in capacity?

  • Comment removed

  • @musiqtube1Yes,many are that size but it should be easier to keep clean too.

  • It's actually quite a nice place once all the Filth and Clutter was cleared out.

  • i watch these episodes for cleaning motivation!

  • @Robertoni7 Many do this after watching Hoarders on A and E and Hoarding,Buried Alive on TLC.

  • I've had nightmares about this cooker....Flamin Nora ! luv it.....

  • I miss this show!

  • I would like to see his home those days...

  • "Im not the poo queen of Britain"....lol...love you Kim

  • At least there was no dog poo!

  • So lovely that his friends all pitched in. I wonder what happened in his life 10 years ago that made himself shut himself away like that...poor guy!

  • That bathroom is AMAZING!!!! Can't believe the bath scrubbed up that well!

  • he was a filthy fucker but i liked this guy

  • NOW THAT'S A GOOD TV PROGRAM

  • I clean my house everyday - some people say I go to far when I clean jelly off the jam jar but it makes a difference when I have friends over and they want to help themselves.

  • after each transformation i found my reaction go from this :S to this :D

  • Kim tipping in lemon: "woo!" :) always makes me smile

  • 8o bags of trash holy shit

  • @WhoStew ...and 60 of recycled materials. 80+60, doing the math makes it even more uncomprehensible for me!!!! This really must be the worst case of filthy every. No wonder it was killing him!

  • aah bless in the end he's a nice guy just didn't have a clue and he is so grateful

  • I don't believe that those people clean their houses regullary after taking part in that show. I don't even believe that they do it at all.

  • I'll be damned if i let that dude put his lips on me after seeing that

  • wow i am jealous flat looks so nice afterwards especially the wooden floors and fire place

  • When they showed the dust on the inside of the bathtub I knew that he hadn't used it to bathe.

  • awwwww look at kim's face at 2:58!!! awwwwwwwwwww!!<3!!

  • It gets that bad because depression and anxiety paralyze a person and starting to tackle it forces you to see how bad it is which more often than not sets off a panic attack. The state of the flat adds to the depression and stress and it appears an insurmountable mountain.

  • @newcrosslights Yeah i've felt that way before, that it's just hopeless and one can't really do anything about it. It's a terrible feeling. I've never seen anything like this though. He must have had severe depression. :-(

  • I can't believe those ladies touch with their bare hands. Adopt a greyhound, they're calm, quiet & need a rest after being brutalized at the tracks.

  • After his friends saw how grotty his flat was, were they put off, or did they remain his friends? I wonder. He seems lovely but my goodness, how do you shake the reputation for being slovenly?

  • love kim and aggie cleaning :P

  • He seems like a really nice guy, he just needs to get his act together, and clean up after himself.

  • priceless is a fabulous name for the dog so cute you dont know what you

    are talking about pomegranateish

  • priceless is a shit name for a dog.

  • His house is Very Very VERY NICE! I love it, I wished I lived in a flat like that!

  • "Flaamin Noora" XD

  • lol he got a "tong lashing"

  • i love the blond woman!! <B

  • After all that cleaning up he's got a great place.

  • He needs a bigger refrigerator. That one he has is what you see in college dorms. My kitchen table is like his.:)

  • I like to wash my counters in bath and kitchen then bleach and let the bleach air dry. If I do that every morning I feel the house is clean, My friend used to say if the dishes are done the house is clean, and whats funny if you go by that rule, you always want to do more after the dishes are done.

  • @katmagoo1 u are right..when i have dishes piled up in the sink i feel like my house is just so goddamn dirty..

  • I think I'll disinfect my kitchen now!

  • Notice how on the UK they kiss on the cheek. you would NOT see that on any american show, Thats interesting.

  • yea,a.d.d.nice bloke

  • i notice that they use their shoes in the house which u have used to walk all over town in and contains dirt etc..is this a common practice in uk and america ?

  • @hazellina07 I think it really depends on the home you are in. I think most people are fine with wearing shoes, but I know plenty of people that take their shoes off before going inside.

  • @KaitR123 Taking off the shoes when you enter keeps the outside dirt outside. Do you realize what you are bringing inside on your shoe? Grease, oil, feces from dogs cats birds etc, human mucus's, think of all the things you wouldn't go near, is there under foot.

Two times a year I have one dirty fig tree ground attack, add stickiness to the sole. The shoes come off. I actually can't understand people that keep shoes on, they are uncomfortable compared to bare feet. Carpet feels so good....

  • @hazellina07 Yes.

  • @hazellina07 i dont know where you live it is very common around here they even wear outdoor shoes in bed

quite frankly i find it disgusting

  • @ShowYourWorking lol ..that crossed my mind too :)

  • hes so sweet!

he invited them to his dinner party!

  • OMG, the bathroom! What an amazing change.

Kim and Aggie rock my world. I'm off to buy some grapefruit and extra salt for my own tub and shower.

  • OMG! That place is gorgeous now! Look at those hardwood floors!

  • Amazing... they turned that place from a feindish nightmare into a place that looks brand new and a five star look alike!! These women should be paid millions for what they have to put up with. Imagine if he took pictures of this place before it was clean and showed people who never been to his flat before when they came, won't they be surprised! Such a sweet man though I'm glad he appreciated their work. Now he can get back to entertaining guests like he used to! I'm happy for him!

  • "Maybe we ought to go then..." monkeybusiness is about to take place in this lovely flat *chuckles*

  • "FLAAAMIN NORA" XD

  • Wow i think he just gave up.....now hes ....bubbly

  • well done ????? he aint dun nothing !!!!! it was all the cleaning ladies that sorted the 'problem' out

  • when he said "i cant wait to have a bath" i think it summed up his life

that man is a disgusting disgrace

  • He reminds me of Drop Dead Fred (his appearance not his personality.)

  • @jasonsjewelry Wow! I didn't know that anyone else remembers that movie! I love that movie!

  • @jasonsjewelry omg i was totally! thinking the exact same thing from part one.

  • WOW

  • where does/did he keep his clothes? O.o

  • i cant help thinking it should be a social worker that comes back to check.

  • @mikem1966 theres so many of these people around and in posh areas too, you really thing they wanna check up on ppl like that? gives the areas a bad name

  • isnt it funny that even if you have nothing if its clean its a home. its a sanctuary and escape from the mad world. you dont need a mansion or lots of furniture just clean.

  • @MrsYobiePants

Actually he didnt have a sofa anyway so fuck you.

  • Wow, that place is so cute. Agree they need to come 6 months later though, not a few weeks.

  • unbelievable his house is completely gorgeous now.

  • Much, much, much better than it was! really nice house!

  • he still looks like he smells, and he needs to wash his hair.

Actually I think it was all filmed in the same day.

  • so happy 4 him!!

  • I'd love to get another part of the show that would be that they go back, by surprise, 6 or 12 months later in these 'extreme' places and see how they look. I wonder how could someone who is able to live in such a dirty place be able to keep one clean for months...

  • @badasssucker They go back after two weeks (at the moment) but in earlier series they used to return after about 6 weeks or 6 months. Some of the people were beginning to get in a mess again.

  • its a great show but you have to keep in mind some of these people suffer from mental illness, its not unusual for a depression to manifest in a persons own enviroment and surrounds and to find themselves in a downward spiral unable to cope in cleaning when its gone too bad, a clean house can help but all it takes is another depression or low self esteme attack and it could easily revert, some need medical counciling also, which this show exploits a little bit for our entertainment sadly

  • @jackscal1

Yes I completely agree. Severe depression can lead to a state like this, and I just hope that this man gets the help he needs not just from the cleaning ladies, but emotional support. He seems like a very sweet man, but there's a sadness to him. And yes sadly reality television does tend to exploit for entertainment.

  • i watched the first 2 sections of this...cleaned my bathroom and kitchen (bleached the shit out if everything), emptied the dishwasher and vacuumed the entire place. it definitely inspires me to clean! but damn--how to people let it get that bad?! has to be mental illness...

  • @Mobee211 Depression, I guess? I think people get easily overwhelmed, too.

I know that when my bathroom was really dirty, I had no idea how to properly clean it. Nothing seemed to work, but I think I wasn't using enough elbow grease.

  • @Mobee211 i know how you feel! after watching another one of the episodes i went and changed all my sheets! jsut to make extra sure they dont have mites or anything! yuck!

  • @Mobee211 If I were to guess, presuming he is three or more flights off the ground, he just got too lazy. Once he was in his flat he was put. He didn't like harsh chemical cleaners and had no other option in his mind so it built up. A wipe with paper after each use is an easy step, and safe for the enviroment when you toss it in a fire in your fire place.

Don't shake his hand for a 6 months incubation period. jk

  • @Mobee211 i agree!!!!

  • @Mobee211 I think you might be a cleanaholic! no affence! but ur just mad!

  • @Mobee211 we can't blame everything wrong with people on mental illness. these people are just extremely lazy and extremely dirty. PERIOD.

  • @platinumpinkice There is no way that flat got in that state soley out of laziness. It doesn't take that much effort to throw tissues in the bin. This has mental illness written all over it.

  • @Mobee211 I get that same feeling of needing to clean, I am slowly developing OCD for cleaning

  • @Mobee211 It usually is a mental illness... but way to go for you! getting your house clean :)

  • @Mobee211 HAAHAAHAAA!!! I'm so the same! I watch just a bit of these episodes and I instantly have to pause it and get scrubbing. :D I am truly amazed how some people can let it get that way. My place barely gets a speck of dust and I instantly feel I must do something. LOL

  • I cleaned my whole bathroom the other day .. this show has inspired me again !

  • He's sweet - I think he should have played Arthur Weasley in the Harry Potter films. Or the dad in The Borrowers.

  • @mepsib or dr. who maybe...I think he actually is. btw: a loveable guy with a nice flat. simple, small, and nice. love the floors (when you actually can see them). there's alot you could improve to make it even nicer but it needed a start first

  • haha i feelt like a freek bless lol

  • this show always makes me clean my microwave!

  • sidbarret123 look at sidbarret123 it is the worst ever

  • Have a look on Kim's nails at the beginning of the video. I would never ever be able to clean anything with such a manicure :)

  • There's one thing about the "afters" in these shows that never rings true for me: These people haven't cleaned their houses in years, yeah? They drop things on the floor, don't mop up spills, have mold and bacteria everywhere etc, etc. Yet under all of that dust, grime, and clutter the surfaces are always pristine....nothing is permanently stained, scratched, chipped, peeled, water-damaged, or rotted. I find that REALLY hard to believe!

  • i agree with you. i think they clean a good portion of the mess, but they dont clean everything. there was one epsiode that i saw where they just got rid of the bath tub and cleaned everything else.

  • I agree. Where are the missing tiles, warped cupboards doors etc. I have noticed though that a lot of the couches etc have covers on them in the 'after' part of the show. I think they fabrics on their soft furnishingss are probably so knackered that they cover them so it looks nicer.

  • must have been pretty depressing living in a state like that!

  • He was a great guy. I can't believe he is in his mid 50's. He looks pretty good. Maybe all that dust has been preserving him! :-)

  • Oh, this was mega transformation. I like this episode. The guy is also nice too (;

  • whenever i need to clean my house but i dont want to i just watch these videos and it makes me want to!! lol.

  • The poor dog! I bet she was happy to have a lovely home as well. I just couldn't believe they could ever get that hovel so lovely. Well done, as always. And well done, James, for keeping it up so well. (I always hold my breath in anticipation when they do the check ups!)

  • Bergamot oil.

  • have you ever seen kims or aggys house? it is on youtube?

send me the link pleasee :)

  • i saw her on the tv show come dine with me and her guests looked around her house her bathroom had dust all over the shelves

  • Stick your nose elsewhere

  • his friends must love him, that was so sweet.

  • Why it seems like the dirtier the house...the More beautiful it can get after serious cleaning!!

  • i bet they get a cleaner in to do it after they have finished

  • wow that was some cleaning!

  • i use all there tips im alergic to chemicals there life savers

  • Comment removed

  • The money they must spend getting these peoples house clean, to be honest they don't deserve it. Let them live like scum if thats how they choose it.

I'd be too ashamed to go on TV and show what a tramp I was...

  • His dog is absolutely gorgeous and he looks happy in his little bed too.

  • kim an aggy r sick at cleaning trust me...!!!!

  • james needs a bath with vinegar and grapefruit... and salt and fresh fruits,,,,,, by jove and tallyhoe

  • No thay cant of, it would have been to radioactive and toxic. :P

  • the end made me laugh when aggie & kim were arguing :L <3

  • this sombitch needs his ass kicked.

  • yeah when he looked at the test results from the lab about him using lots tissues im suprised he wasnt shitting him self cold with hair standing upon his back he mus have been blinded by the mess he didnt even notice a heep full of tissues was suppost to tell him something!!!

  • flat looks amazing and modern

  • Does he have more than one jumper?

  • wow what a lovely guy

  • I like the tip about the salt and the lemon. I'm going to try that. I love how the British call the range a "cooker."

  • and how you call it a range. I call it a stove.

  • WOW!This is very very very different!

    I can't believe my eyes!

  • it looks like a flat now. nice and comfortable.

  • well at least he's rich in personality, unlike some people

  • Kim and Aggie are both very smitten with this guy, and I can see why cause he's really sweet.

  • hes a pig, but a cute pig

  • the friend is like "well dooone!!" to him but it was Kim and Aggie who did the work!!

  • i cried when he is really happy with his home! i really.. Good job...

  • He reminds me of Fred in drop dead Fred. I love the transformation, he seems a lot happier :]

  • "I felt like a normal human being."

Damn they really did him a kindness. I hope his friends come by to check in on him every so often. His squalor really cut him off from other human beings.

  • this guy seems really grateful, and actually a very humble and nice. i hope for his sake that he's kept it up and is happy. it's really horrible and depressing going home to a shitpit.

  • I just love his reaction, he really seems to have found himself again.

  • oohhh myyyy godd!! haha it look soo good now! XD i luv K&A!!

  • That dude has copied my decor, right i'm off to homebase

  • aww that guy must have been depressed and gotten the major sads to live like that, I hope he's happy now, he was very humble and sweet. a real trooper.

  • Miracle workers.

  • This was my 1st time seeing this episode... & it really was the WORST FLAT EVER!!!!!!! (Honestly, I had to stop eating. It was turning my stomach.) But his apt. turned out to be very cute! However, I have 1 question: Did Kim & Aggie buy him furniture or did they take him furniture shopping? This was the 1st time I've EVER seen a "HCIYH?" where the owner had NO FURNITURE!!!

  • "Did Kim & Aggie buy him furniture or did they take him furniture shopping? " I think his friends bought stuff over.

  • His friends brought the furniture.. where were these friends to help him clean?!

  • They probably offered to help clean all the time and his pride and embarrassment got in the way of actually letting them into his apartment.

  • Thank you so much for posting these, Rip! I adore Kim and Aggie, but I do not get this program in the US (no cable tv for me). They are so inspiring.

  • lovely

  • eww those tissues

    he's cute tho

  • Damn!! they do great work.

  • YES THEY DO! I've learned SO MUCH from K&A, & some of their stuff I actually use in my everyday life!

  • aww, this guy is so cute...

  • I think he's really handsome, lovely chap. Refined. Glad he's happy!

  • What a transformation. He's got a marvelous, roomy apartment (I like those doors!) and I really hope he's going to keep it clean!

  • He's the sweetest guy ever! I loved the way he was offering to help throughout the whole cleaning procedure! And he smiled so much! So sweet indeed. Makes me want to visit the UK again :)

  • He's such a sweet guy...please keep that flat tidy!

  • I would love to travel back to the U.K. someday. I cherish my time living there, wonderful, wonderful folks

  • Does anyone know what the name of the tune is that is played during the closing credits and also used throughout the programme?

  • Deepee doOpee beEpeE bOoPee... You mean that one?

  • Just so you know, the sound would be pizzicatto (the term for plucked strings). Sounds a bit better than "deepee doopee beepee boopee", no?

    :)

  • I love this show.... kim and aggie are so funny,,,,
