Have the movie on DVD, I got it because I loved David Tennant in Doctor Who and when I got it I was 14 years old. It haunted my eyes for months. But it was sexy as hell I could tell my parents about it cuz they would take it away. LOL they still don't know today and I'm 17! LOL then I got Secret Smile that my friends was a whole different story of scenes that haunted me at night. That was when I was 15. And my parents don't even know about the movies I'm in Canada.

Well, I prefer Dramas over Movies...simply because mini-series provide more room for character development and sub-plots.

Although I never saw the Heath Ledger blockbuster, I saw clips of the movie trailer, and I think I'll stick with the BBC Casanova.

I found David Tennant to be VERY attractive sexually, and this show was done very well. (The costume designs were brilliant!) And a good healthy dose of English humor added.

I haven't seen the Heath Ledger film, but this TV version of the tale by Russell T. Davies was a bawdy, light-hearted romp with a heart and I adored it. I really recommend it to everyone!

The problem with Dr Who is that it became too popular for its own good. As with most programmes, it was killed off by bad scheduling and general dumbing down. They would rather not admit to it being the wonderful global success - they concentrate too much on shows that have failed in the ratings or are rubbish IMO!
