  • Holy crap, that was sick! I have Rhino 4 too, I use it for my robotics class, but I wouldn't be able to do anything like this xD

    -Julian

  • :D amazing :D

I wish I could do that, but unfortunately,

I never managed to work with advanced programmes besides photoshop. no animation skills (yet) but I don't have the time anymore to try, since I tweet my life away... you should do more of this stuff! it's awesome! :D

  • You didn't FTBA :D

  • Well, I kinda did. I should've uploaded this a year ago :p

  • that was epic :)

  • Thanks! <3

  • Pretty sweet!

  • Sweet! That's not stupid...how'd you do that?! XD

  • I modeled it in Rhinoceros, animated with Bongo and rendered the thing with Flamingo. They're all software packages from McNeel, so they work seamlessly together.

  • That's awesome. :D

  • ahahaha, great, Tom!

  • Can you believe this thing has been sitting on my hard drive for over a year? 250 frames sitting in folder, waiting to be finished... :)

  • This is so fantastic!

  • I love this :D

  • that should be their new intro.

  • They should use this in a new intro.

  • :D Amazing!

  • Oh, Tom, with your creative niftiness.

  • Yeah, just more proof that I have too much time on my hands :)

  • Hank, John, you guys should so totally ask if you can use this as a new intro.

  • I dunno, it's a bit ... what's the word... copyrightlicious :)

  • awesome indeed.

  • Whoa, that's freakin' awesome!

  • Thanks! :)

  • haha it took me a few seconds to get what Green Bros. was!

  • Yeah, imagine what it's like for people who've never even heard of them :)

  • I love the b2.0-esque THUNK at the end. Aweosme, awesome animation. -John

  • Thanks! It was only after animating it that I realized the image rotated quite fast, so I added the "thunk" to cover up. (You know what it's like when you can't get an animation to work properly, right? ;) It never struck me as B2.0-esque, but I suppose it really is quite fitting :)
