I never managed to work with advanced programmes besides photoshop. no animation skills (yet) but I don't have the time anymore to try, since I tweet my life away... you should do more of this stuff! it's awesome! :D

I modeled it in Rhinoceros, animated with Bongo and rendered the thing with Flamingo. They're all software packages from McNeel, so they work seamlessly together.

Thanks! It was only after animating it that I realized the image rotated quite fast, so I added the "thunk" to cover up. (You know what it's like when you can't get an animation to work properly, right? ;) It never struck me as B2.0-esque, but I suppose it really is quite fitting :)
