The man was a great actor..especially in the historical epic genre. I didn't like his political agenda either...but,hey, the guy was an ACTOR not a politician. Who will ever forget his Moses or El Cid? R.I.P., Charlton Heston.
I don't particularly think a hateful NRA warmonger deserves a tribute this good. I mean you can HATE me all you want but I'll NEVER forgive him for that shameful speech he gave after Columbine. For an example on how to be a good person AND actor look no further than Daniel Day Lewis.
...because you happen to agree with Lewis' (liberal) ideology. If he, like Heston, was a fervent supporter of the second amendment of the U.S. constitution, that would no doubt sway your opinion of Lewis' abilities as an actor. Heston was a great American who marched in favor of civil rights (back when it was not popular to do so). You wanna talk hate? Be sure to include such hateful tools as Sean Penn & Tim Robbins; worth less than the sweat on Chuck's loincloth.
Maybe if you learned punctuation and the proper way to write a sentence your weak attempt at an insult might not have backfired. Thanks for the laugh.

Aw I was wishing to see him as Marc Antony in the 1970 remake of Julius Caesar. I liked him in that one

You forgot the Big Country? He stars in that as a ranch forman, and engages in a fist fight scene with Gregory Peck.

@patsaxon
I "forgot" a number of films. Or more accurately, did not have them in my collection at the time. But yeah, it's a terrific movie.
