Nice Video but a couple of notes 1 In practice 185 in the breast is way way to high. The breast meat will be dry as a bone. The FDA may call for 185 but no CIA trained chef will do it. Thats why I don't like cooking Chickens vertically in an egg its the wrong way. What you are doing is putting the breast up in the hottest part of the BBQ and the legs and thighs in the coldest. In an egg it should be breast down in a rack. Cook until the thigh reaches 185 and the breast 165 170.

Yes, it's true. We substituted a vertical chicken roaster rack for the beer can. Oops.
Here's the fix: Use a half can of beer with the top removed in place of the vertical roasting rack.
