@hungoversundays I think that was pretty clear, but the ruthless flashbacks, and the fact that 50% of the people in the movie look the same can make it a bit confusing. I re-watched it though, and the second time was truly amazing.

Why does Hollywood dominate the world? Why do we have to deal with the same awful plots over and over? Hollywood may have good production values, but they don't tell stories like this. This is a glorious work of art and deserves far more international recognition any recent Hollywood block busters.

I did a total of all the good movie hollywood has made in the last 5 years and they made 480 good movies. Also u have to remember hollywood is also a business and most of the people who work there have families they need to provide for. So even if a movie fails the money is makes helps keep jobs for people.

They make some of the best, but they get all the attention and even the turds of Hollywood get huge press, but epic films from Europe and Asia get not even a mention in the US. In the past few years Hollywood has been under-performing compared to other parts of the world. It just isn't fair.

Great movie!! I think that in this movie you seek for revenge while you are waching it. I'm mean you come to a point making the choice of the characters.. Its not as suprising as Old Boy.. but it makes you think abit more. I personally really like the movie

Yep, it's the same actor. The director uses the same actors quite a lot. The guy that played Woo-Jin has a small cameo in this as well.

i think this is the best trailer for sympathy for lady vengeance. the american version is just kinda lame in comparison. this one is much more sweepingly beautiful.

the US trailer is so obvious. "all the wanted was a peaceful life" et al cue cards - it's kind of like as if the movie guy was saying the words. this is not a movie guy movie.

As much as i adore the Revenge Trilogy - this one is, in my opinion, the worst.

There was just something about it that didnt deliever.

Mr. Vengenance was just amazing, and Oldboy was so cinematic, and had such a great soundtrack. Lady vengenance seemed more ocnventional to me. But still good.
