  • Beautifull!!!!

  • Stunning!! A great effort of art, sweat, and talent!! The sound-equipped locos just put it over the top!

That will be a must have on my layout!!!

    Bravo!!!

  • good job

  • This is SICK. Off the charts in realism. Great talent and accomplishment. It's aplace, not a model railroad!.

  • A very beautiful layout and a nice made video. I enjoyed the ride. Thumbs up! :)

  • WOW that's what I call a real model railroad

  • Beautiful layout, thanks for posting this, a real inspiration.

  • Sweet! I've thinking about building a new layout but haven't been too interested in doing N or HO because of size and my eyes. Being able to work in 1:48 scale would be better and your layout proves it.

  • WOW, impressive!

  • Put a small camera in the cab! That would be epic. :)

  • BRAVO!

  • How many meters of track is that??

  • Wow what a great layout

  • Absolutely AWESOME!!! Can't wait to switch from HO to On30!!! So much more detail.

  • The article in the Gazette was amazing. I am in the process of rebuilding my On30 layout and your layout article was timely.

  • Outstanding. Saw your video a few weeks ago and then I got the Nov/Dec '10 Gazette! Didn't make the correlation until now! Just beautiful.

  • Awesome!

  • Scott,

I have one word: Wow! Makes my model RR efforts look rather pathetic, but you sure inspire me.

Thank you for sharing it with us.

  • you must have a lot of fun with this layout

  • Real rock - yes. Size of layout is a bout 385 SF. For more go top my website identified about 15 comments back. I have since modified the city are track layout and scenes (currently under re-development)....."Always Changing"

  • Scott,

Outstanding work !!!! True Narrow Gauge Modeling Please don't change a thing !!!

2 quick questions for you ???

    1. Are you using real rock in your scenery

    2.How big is this layout.

  • stellar!

  • That is one of my YT highlights since watching about 10 years !!!!

  • Great layout! Very good! I like it

  • Beautiful work! some of the structures looked like downtown decco. I don't what the y guy was thinking about "too slow". Any faster and you couldn't take in the excellent workmanship. Very inspiring. I am starting a small mining railroad based in B.C Canada, called the Dolly Varden mining company. You're backdrops are superb also. Just like the big skies of Texas!

  • Nice looking layout.

  • Too slow????? I do not understand the reference.

  • too slow

  • Great Layout!

  • Scott, do you have an estimate of how much it costed to set up this 7th wonder?

  • Must have taken FOREVER to build. It looks so worth it though.

  • As good as it gets!!

  • Excellent

  • Fantastic. It's so life like! Love it.

  • Thank you for the nice comments. For those who asked the track is PECO On30 code 100. The footprint is in a room approximately 385 sf.

  • Test Test Test

  • that is one hell of a layout!! great job!!

what is the footprint of this layout?

  • very very nice layout well done

  • Nice in Color too!

  • Really fantastic. Between 3:20 and 3:44 the scenery is so realistic and the lighting so natural it reads as 100% real. Great job!

  • Beautiful!

  • Perfection !
