I'm not some Bruce Willis fanboy, but I don't read anything but a sort of restrained amusement from him. He wasn't mocking, but he was clearly not receiving the type of questions he expected for an in-depth, "real" interview. He was reassuring the interviewer enough, but I didn't hear many pertinent questions that required any deep response. Willis just didn't see a need to delve into shallow discussion. That's just how I read him, I guess. This is nothing like Seinfeld with Larry King.

The worst interviews are done when the interviewer hasn't studied up on the person they're interviewing, so this isn't so bad, really.

A good interview reveals something interesting about the person interviewed--I didn't know Bruce Willis was once a bartender (though a quick look in wikipedia could have revealed that, I just never looked him up.) and that he isn't picky about food. Apparently he will try anything which is quite nice.

The interview questions were not particularly engaging or creative in the least, but by the same token the interviewee could have been more elaborate or forthcoming with his answers. "Should I be taking this less seriously?" pretty much says it all.

His answers which seemed evasive and abrupt even for the simplest question are either the result of a monumental ego or utter apathy at being there.
