12 luck: Nearly everyone can do better, except Knoll because his luck is shit.

eww dozla he's because any tier 2 (promoted) charas that join you, are -10 levels weaker

true dozla is tough, but making ross a berserker from lvl 20 = unstopable, this aplies to promoting any tier 1 (non-promoted)character from lvl 20 already promoted character

dozla sucks big time, any other character is usless to anyone who is too lazy to lvl them up and keep them alive. work on them to lvl 20 entire batalion would have a serious problem with each of them

I nvr thought he sucked because when i first played through this game i had ross die ( so no high dmg dealer from pirate or beserker) and i didnt use seth because i thought that when he was hurt in the beginning of the game that he would be useless. so when i got gerik and dozla i could finally clear battles with ease :)).

Recent (most of the US-ported) FE-games have very few inherently sucky characters. Only characters people like to complain about because they fail to max stats or something. In my book, the requirments for a character to suck is either

1) Fail to survive no matter how hard you try

or worse

2) Fail to deal damage no matter how hard you try (making leveling them up a bitch) I'm looking at you Fiona.

Characters are appraised according to their value and availability. In this game, it matters a lot less because you have the tower, easy arena and random encounters so levelling up isn't hard. It matters a lot MORE in the other games where the story missions are preset. You'd be a lot less inclined to train Dozla if this was Blazing swords style since Ross comes earlier, levels up faster and has higher base stats as a level 1 Berserker.
