I live in Hollywood and recognize a couple of those guys. They are very scary. The stress of the job is getting to them. You can see how tightly their wigs are screwed on. I have photographed a lot of the Hollywood police, mostly doing what they do best; that is, drinking lattés and eating their scones from Starbucks. They have never done a thing to help me. I've seen them avoid their work a great deal, refusing to take reports, etc.

I live in Hollywood and recognize a couple of those guys. They are very scary. The stress of the job is getting to them. You can see how tightly their wigs are screwed on. I have photographed a lot of the Hollywood police, mostly doing what they do best; that is, drinking lattés and eating their scones from Starbucks. They have never done a thing to help me. I've seen them avoid their work a great deal, refusing to take reports, etc.
