let's assume they say stop at 29.

Subtract 26 from it.

29-26=3

the larger pile (the one with 29 cards) will have 3 more red/black cards then the smaller pile has black/red cards.

Good trick. It only need a better presentation to hide his "mathematical principle" :)

And maybe don't make a prediction, better talk by sample about a basket match: Espectator will select a color (will be his score table) and you then get the another color (will be your score table). Then you can say: You have won me for 7 points (is's the same as you have 7 more red cards that my black cards, but more easy to understand)

This is a trick i like, you can have the spectator shuffle the deck as many times as they like, and keep doing to the trick. These are the type tricks that are the best. Thanks for the tutorial!
