What inspired you to cover this rare but beautiful Lush song?

I'm just wondering... Because it's so strange... I saw Miki at Lalapolooza 1992 and had been enthralled by Lush for a couple of years already... And then, all these years later, I've just lived through what the song "half and half" describes... So, the song haunts me as does my brief encounter with Miki all those years ago.
