they weren't fancy but they could deliver a consistent sound and real emotion into their performances - saw them on a lark moons ago in a dumpy theatre in Cincinnati - truly a missed band - the talent was there without pretention

I like your posts, Mr Boing8... remembering when 'Top Of The Pops' made the move to have 'live' vocals over the top of the production versions of the music... christ, bad move - that bird from Lush was well fit though, so I'll let her off, like :o)
