In terms of her variety, like her last magic attack "Smiley", and her ability to heal AND her unparalleled jumping ability, (jump and then her *hold down* then *tap up and C* rockety move) I'd agree! Yet I was more of a Katrina man :P

Nice attempt... but comeon, gotta be sharper with the Healing. That spell is ESSENTIAL to beating the game in hard mode. Losing way too many credits due to not using Healing shortcut (down-up Z).

Her other magic is waste of time (except barrier for corner-traps). You can get a real good thing going with BC health-drainer to gain magic meter, then burn magic to heal and regain strength. Rinse repeat.

I mean I love Randy's style and all but dude's out after one axe swipe. Nicole + Han ftw.

You can play it with a Sega Saturn emulator called SSF, there are tutorials on youtube.

Also, if you have a GameBoy Advance or a Nintendo DS (Or a PSP with a GameBoy Advance emulator) you can play the sequel.

you'd be right! but guardian heroes came first (and did it a helluva lot better!). panzer bandit was a great clone but had to be watered down to compensate for the psone's lack of ram.

only 2 planes to fight on instead of 3, and toned down special effects and the like.

this isn't to say pb is a bad game. it isn't. it's just that sega and treasure really knew how to party. (do you know where i can find a copy of pb, actually? i've been searching for years!). i still play this game occasionally

Oh man this game was insane, I still have 2 copies of it and the 6 player multitap! Everything about this game was amazing, graphics, music the characters and most of all the intense 6 player battles. Tbh I rather they didnt bring this game to the new consols in any form, this game is best remembered as it was back then. Think I'll play this now:)

Well your a lucky bastard so it's easy for you to talk about how it was best as it was. When I was little this game was amoung if not my ultimate fav and same goes for my friends aswell. I have found memories of playing this spectacular game with my late brother. that game was one of a kind I cannot find the same feeling in the stuff of the now despite the good stuff we got going. But I would kill to play this again it's been years.

And no for you it's not a memory sence you obviously can still play it so don't throw that opinion around to much. My bro may be gone and I don't play games often but I would certainly love to have this one back a reminisce over the games fun features and the time I had with my brother playing it for hours.

The only thing I hope is if they bring it back it is left alone. It was perfect the way it was. I could understand minor graffic enhancement but thats all. Of course it would look even better on a new console like the 360, wii, even PC etc. but I would be so greatful and If they want to enhance it make that some kind of special release and I wouldn' mind getting that or even a sequal either. Not that advance thing I saw it and it is hardly exceptable compared to this.

Fair enough m8, I understand where your comming from, I just dont want to see this games name tarnished, I had fun playing this the other day, incredibly my saturn memory card still held my save game data so I had access too all the characters I had gained back in the day :) G.Silver and Katrina are still my 2 favs. Had an insane 6 player game we got owned by Kanon with what seemed like unlimted magic.

I bet if they brought it back sence it kinda has a good enough following it's likely. I hope they don't make significant changes it was perfect like it was. I get what you mean. They should leave it as is or bring it back but keep it virtually the same and then make samll changes to another versin which would be accpetable. But it's almost never that convenient. Sorry bout the attitude though. Man your lucky especially considering your memory card still works. And yeah Kanon can be a pain.

The number of paths, enemies, attacks- so good. The main characters are some of my favs in any game. And the music- unforgettable.

Really perfected gameplay after a while, but the perfect balance of difficulty was still there.

This game is cool...But Guardian heroes advance, although lacks in comparison to the original in Sound and Graghics, is better in replay and control if one learns how to play it right. I have heard a lot of folks bash it, but to compare it to the original is rediculous...It would be like comparing Super Mario Bros to Mario bros (same characters- different kind of game. GHA is closer to Simpsons Arcade or Ninja Turtles arcade (in the genre, it has accomplished much)

This was my favourite brawl game up until I discovered Sengoku 3 on MAME. But still, this is a classic. Not the greatest gameplay on earth though... me and my buddy completed it on Hardest mode (Han + Nicole)
