too bad that didnt happen the 48 car, mr superman himself. when he goes on his roof ,if he ever does he`ll probably retire..... mark my words....... not disssin him, but just tired of hearing about him every weekend..
he's so right about that whole thing......but he cud hav AT LEAST thanked the safety crew that worked almost a half hour getting him out of his car....
i love you dense fans. No, Harvick wouldn't have died, no Newman wouldn't have died. Jeez. I also love how u dolts think that getting rid of the RP will "solve everything". it wont. You'll have cars going much faster. Watch the most recent windtunnel with Ken Schrader...he ACTUALLY knows what he's talking about (unlike you idiots)
@wawwwaaa I would think ryan newman would know a little more since he is a mechanical engineer. Removing the plates all togeather wouldnt help but opening them up a little will. Getting rid of the wing helped alot. I think the 2011 daytona 500 was a step in the right direction
@Cube11679 Well even in the old car he still coulda gone up on his lid just from the quick turn around....But I believe the wing may have helped lifting that car its hard to say.
Newman summarized NASCAR's major problem in a brief interview. The series has so much potential that is being stifled by head-up-the-ass rulesmongers.
I could not say it better myself !! Back in the day, I would NEVER miss a race. These last few years (especially since Winston stopped sponsoring) I can easily go several weeks & then watch one.
i ddnt like the new rule either i agree with ryan newman quit changing things around nascar leave it the way it is i am so glad he didnt get seriously hurt
Every time Nascar comes up with something new that they say is "safer" for the drivers, it always backfires on them. This is just like them warning non-chasers to "take it easy" around the chasers...can't they all just be left alone to race? I mean, COME ON!!
Ryan Newman is 100000% right about his comments.... if you dont agree you dont know shit about racing.

Did The Wing Help Lift The Car And Would The Old Car Have Did The Same Thing? Just Looking For Opinion's
Cube11679 2 years ago
I think the Wing did lift the car, and if Harvick was going any slower Newmans car would've crushed the windshield in, and probably killed Harvick.

I was so glad that Ryan and Mark said how they felt. Glad everyone survived. But that wasn't a race by any means
