  • Chuck Willis En 1958

  • Louis Jordan A Fait Une Version Dans Les L'année 30's

  • Just makes me want to fucking kick something! Genius!!!

  • Min 1:00 AMEN.

  • Happy 79th Birthday Little Richard !

  • Real badass rock n roll! I love the energy in this song.

  • This song was origionally done in 1938 by Louis Jordan and the Tympany 5 in a style called "Jump Blues". Richard recorded it leaving out that verse that says "I can tell you been drinkin' gin" because he was maketing it to a teenaged market.

  • fucking great song ..... 0:11 lol

  • Sister: Why cant they come in?

    Me: Hes getting dressed. Duh.

  • The King and The Queen of Rock and Roll

  • I like Elvis more than Princeboy99.

  • he was an inspiration to sooooo many, where do you think the beatles get their screams from in songs.

  • I love this guys vocals. I'll admit, I got it from Mafia. Love Mafia because I love the older decades especially the 20's-50's, what better than a video game that takes you back to that time period. His vocals caught me because their so fierce, reminds me of Jim Morrison and metal vocals. The music is catchy, classy, and heavy at the same time. Dont need growling vocals and a breakdown in every song to be heavy, his vocal style is original, and great. All music stems from it's predecessors.

  • rock and roll is definately an american invention

  • About a decade ago he came to a town near me and I didn't get there. His band played WAAAY overtime and the announcer finally had to tell him the show had to close so folks could go home. Is there an entertainer any harder working than that?! As long as there's rock, the best of the early days will be remembered.

  • @Gyphia VERY well said! I hate when people make stupid bullshit assumptions about music when in reality they really don't know a damn thing about music

  • A damn good song

  • Has anyone noticed that John Bonham of Led Zeppelin stole the drum intro of this for "Rock And Roll"?

  • was he bisexual?

  • All the heavy metal vocalists sing like him, in other words, at a full volume!

  • @willpn100 That's SO true. Great point there. It's true - Little's influence extends through all types of music genres. He didn't just influence rock music and rhythm & blues. He influenced any music that's "heavier" like metal, punk. He was SO ahead of his time. He also influenced all the glam rock in 1970s. I wish Little Richard would do ONE more US tour before he leaves us for good. I'd love to see him

  • @willpn100 the Funny part this mn had this voice all others that try to sin like him have to scream, becouse they don't have the born voice.

ba He had to take drugs and waste that epic voice

  • @willpn100 Little Richard has made MANY statements on how all these artists have basically stolen from him and he never gets the credit he deserves. From most artists, that would just be someone having a big head, but from Little Richard, he's telling the god's honest truth.

  • The hardest rock and roll song recorded in the fifties. Little Richard is the King!. This song was ahead of its time.

  • at least elvis didnt do rap crap he sang in english , not yo yo yo , he did speak very clear english

  • to those that are arguing about black vs white back then, little richard, chuck berry and others appreciated the white guys 'stealin' their stuff because they got more airplay. the white culture didn't want that tainted rock n roll comin from tainted people i guess. i never really knew the difference in peoples color! PEACE

  • 1:16 richard looks like Prince during the purple rain era

  • little richard was good looking at 0:39

  • Com on boys, keep On Knockin, its al about Good old Rock and Roll,

thats what music means to be!!!!

  • auch super der spielt in mafia 2 .. is von 1958 und mafia spiel 1951 -.-

  • @unclewilly2 Echt jetz?

  • Guys please stop fighting, I'm black but this racially motivated arguments has got to stop.

  • i never said elvis was racist. i said he stole most of his songs from black people duh u get ur facts straight. U childish ignorant fool. Why u even care that ive voiced my opinon what u need to do is get a life and fuck off

  • @Tashiebobo Your facts are false. Any black artist that was around back when Elvis was around would COMPLETELY disagree with your stupid ass. Elvis HELPED bring back those songs that were NOT getting any airplay on mainstream radio because most of America was racist then. Most people don't realize that Elvis brought their songs back into the discussion again. Parents hated Elvis because he acted too "black". Elvis opened a lot of doors so you should have a little more respect you lowlife cunt

  • @Princeboy99 Well said. If it wasn't for Elvis, rock n' roll may have been aborted before it ever caught the mainstream. We never would have heard of Little Richard, Fats, Chuck, or the rest. And after the deaths of Holly and Cochran,America may have easily buried rock n' roll underneath the popular crust. Folks forget how acceptable varied music, fashion, and dance is in society now, but Elvis, the Beatles and others were attacked for pushing these boundaries.Elvis opened huge doors for us all.

  • @Princeboy99 Fact is Fact, Elvis Presley opened the doors to mainstream America to music normal AM radio stations would notPlay. the rest is history

  • @sunrecords56 No, you´ve made a mistake. It was the famous DJAlan Freed and later Bill Haley who brought rock and roll to mainstrain. The rest is history!

  • @Tashiebobo

This is why racism exists and always will exist.

You can't say he just stole from others (I don't really care if he did or not, a legend he would stay), you have to say it was from BLACKS.

You keep saying we need to get a life, yet you still spend your time arguing here.

  • @Tashiebobo now boys, cant we all just get on and enjoy the music?

  • @Tashiebobo lemme guess, public enemy sent you? chuck D himself said he said the "elvis was racist" thing to piss people off and didnt mean it. EVERYONE stole music back then, there were no coherent copyright laws, it actually helped artists more than it hurt them. Little Richard covered this song from someone else just so you know.

  • that was for "you were in the middle"...AFTER contnuously telling me you were going back to eating your own shit. got it?

What's worse than biting into an apple and finding a maggot in it?

  • @Tashiebobo Fuck you. Learn how to type English next time you attempt to insult me. If you want to continue living in a "lie" thinking that Elvis hated black people and stole people's music..fine by all means live in your own made up stupid world. Yes, you're right many of Little Richard's songs were later performed by (usually) terrible white singers. 1950's America = very racist. The ARTISTS themselves though were most of the time NOT racist. Get your fucking facts right you bitch

  • elvis stole big mam a thorn song hound dog so elvis didnt creat anything he stole from amazing black artist he never did anything on his own. all those song black people already recorded it but he stole it

  • @Tashiebobo Where did all of this anger come from? Why are you such a hater on Elvis Presley? This isn't even an Elvis video..what the hell is wrong with you? I bet you didn't even know that Little Richard HAD and still HAS respect for Elvis. He once said: "He was an integrator, Elvis was a blessing. They wouldn't let black music through. He opened the door for black music." People always forget it was the music INDUSTRY that was racist back in the 50's, NOT the artists. You must be retarded

  • @Tashiebobo First off: That song was written by two Jewish boys.

Second off: He didn't steal it from Big Mama, he liked the Freddie Bell and the Bellboys version (white folks if I remember correctly)

Third off: The song is so long away from being a cover of either songs

Fourth off: Elvis did so much for helping black people up in society in black America, so just STFU and learn your history right.

  • i agree with the comments of princeboy but what about bill haley and the comets who gave us the term of rock and roll and brout it into promiscence hail hail rock and roll jimandot

  • the only reason i dont listen to this song is because its way too short, its good, but short as justin biebers cock

  • Can you imagine a guy like this being released to the world in the 1950's...I think a a lot of parents ran and hid under their beds when the teenagers bought his records. Little Richard is the face of rock and roll and a pure genius.

  • @joraider08 it's hilarious that he could scream "Good golly, Miss Molly, sure likes to ball" so blatantly and get away with it because Ward and June Cleaver had no idea that "ball" is also a verb.

  • Does anyone know where I can find Brown Sugar by Little Richard?

  • Pure Insanity at its Highest Level, there will never be another one Like HIM Long Live Queen Richard

  • Brings back memories of 6th grade bop parties. Usually in a girl classmate's basement, these usually took place once a week. The girls usually wanted nice slow songs like Pat Boone's Loveletters in the Sand. A crazy friend of mine and I always insisted on this song and other Little Richard hits. We did a dance called The Riveter - jumping up and down on one foot while heel-toeing the other. Over at his house, we would crank up his parents' HiFi and put it on 45 or 16 RPM to ehance it's evil

  • Thumbs up if you think that this dude is better than elvis.. he is the arquitect of rock and roll and the king

  • @robinsaaan You got to be joking me. He and Elvis were friends anyways so I don't understand what you're trying to say with this? "Jailhouse Rock" is one of the greatest rock songs ever. They both are rock Gods. Little Richard even said once in an interview: "Elvis may have been the King of Rock and Roll, but I was the Queen!"

  • jajajaj no harm done little one.... im just sayng ... hes better.. and he had the rithim first ( thats why they call him the arquitecht) to me he is better than elvis to you he es equal or what not.... but not to aloot of people.... just for the fact that hes succes wasnt as biig because. of rasism... but we are free to think what we want ejjejeje thenks for the comment expect a reply in time ... ciao

  • @robinsaaan I bet you didn't even know that shitty white artists like Pat Boone would sing Little Richard songs like "tutti-frutti" and even though his versions had absolutely NO SOUL or any feeling to them whatsoever...HIS versions actually out-sold Little Richard's own versions..that's because of the music industry being racist. But at LEAST when Elvis sang black songs or Little Richard songs, he sang them with EMOTION and soul. James Brown called Elvis his soul brother. Elvis is 1 of a kind

  • truth,,,,yes my tyny agitated friend i knew... still brother ..... no comparison to little richard jajajaj .. you think you know music or SOUUL because you give me historict fact or something like that..listen dude i like elvis.. probably more then you.. but no ofence again and with no remorse .. richard is better sounds better and plays better... i am truly sorry if i dont agree with you. you can think whatever you want,,, you are still not convincing alooot of people. more than you think

  • @robinsaaan There's no way in hell you like Elvis more than me. That's not possible. I'm an Elvis fanatic...I'm a rock and roll music fanatic too. And everyone who TRULY knows rock and roll music knows that Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, James Brown and Buddy Holly were the pioneers of everything rock and roll. They helped created the greatest music that's ever been created in this world. It wasn't just 1 of them, they all did it together

  • ajjajajaaja what the hell do you know if i like elvis more than you ajjaaj little advice dont think you are always the one who loves anithing more than anyone jajaj especialy elvis ajajja theres always someone,. and second listen dude i know all of them combined helped to rock n rolll who would question that?? but still I THINK HES BETTER THAN ELVIS.. we all here are rock n roll fans and music rocks to those who choose.. so we dont have to keep arguing its pointles. ajjaj rock n roll dude

  • @robinsaaan What the fuck do "ajjajajaaja", "ajjaaj", "jajaj", "ajajja", and "ajjaj" mean? Are you on the pipe?

  • @Princeboy99 I know four people who like Elvis more than you. Possibly five.

  • @Princeboy99 Hey, man, don't forget Bill Haley, Gene Vincent, etc.

  • @Khultan Of course not. Can't forget Haley and Vincent either. I know there were more than just the ones I mentioned but I feel like the ones I mentioned were the REAL big stars and the ones that had the most hits too u know?

  • @Princeboy99 I understand but I just felt the criteria cannot count out the fact that by the time Elvis Presley got in the rock'n'roll scene alot of kids weren't really dancing like those in the Bill Haley era and folks from there. There's a lot of factors to draw in, but I understand what you're getting at.

  • This has got to be one of the all time "Hardest Rocking" songs that ever existed.....Alot of rock n roll stars took their cue from Little Richard.......

  • @mpsicily Couldn't agree anymore with you. Little Richard was the first "CRAZY" rock star ever. He had so much energy. Every rocker that's come after him who has ANY bit of "energy" in them...was influenced directly or indirectly by Little Richard's genius

  • @mpsicily and...

Little Richard was a bad copycat of the great Esquerita from which he stole, the music and his style and outfit!

  • @jt123egypte Very well could be,,,,,,,,,,,,,However every musician "steals" from other musicians, everything that a musician hears and sees comes out in his / her own music...........That's what makes music so great.......It's just the nature of the beast and that will never change..........

  • Remember when the preacher in the 1950's..... said " Rock n Roll" has got to go" ! ha, ha,

  • OMG!

  • I have seen Little Richard live, in person, twice. The first time was in the early 70s. At the start of that show, he told the audience that, "Elvis may be the King of rock and roll, but Little Richard is the QUEEN of rock and roll." Long live the Queen of rock and roll.

  • Is that Grady Gaines on sax?

  • @gasfgiop I think that it might've been "Lee Allen" who did sax on his early hits......

  • The king of rock an' roll.

  • Finally found this perrrrfect tune. What a freak, but Thats Rock and Roll.
