This is poorly titled. Wanna see proof? How about an 86 stroke rally in GS play in the RG final Wilander -Vilas on You-tube in about three minutes long. It wasn't even unusual for claycourt mtchesthroughout Europe in the late 70-mid 80's. But 40+ stroke rallies in modern tennis are rare, certainly of this stature.
