Oh and if your interested I've started a lil series on Pennsilfaanische Deitsch. Kinda inspired by ur vids and I get credit for it in school, but I'm trying a different approach. So far I'm not so pleased with how they've turned out but I got some cool ideas for the future of 'my Deitsch' series once I get used to makin vids, check it out out. thanx again I love learning german dialekts and I think you've done the best job I've found on the net so far, keep up good work:O) Cheers from PA
I've watched all your vids n think I'm ready 4' mei naechste reise na der schweiz' lol.1 of my fav pep in the world is a friend from Vorarlberg Austria, 'Aer wohnt in Feldkirch an d grenz' He studys in Wien and says pep can't understand him. 'Awwer aer sagt sei dialekt glei wi schwyiz isch?'' I've traveled with him more times than I can remember into switzerland and although' I ha ganz weni verstanden, aer hat ke problem mit dei dialekt' In ur opinion how does Vorarlbergisch compare to zurich?
@Maryangel24 haha u say ''bitte gärn gscheh'' thats so cool cause we say in penssylvaanische instead of HG Danke Schon we say - gern scheene /machts geud.....thanks your vids are very informative
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!! Still haven't had the chance to put my (I'm sure hilarious) swiss german into practice! But will let you know how it goes when I do! :)
@jitenkthakkar that is true, tense-wise, swiss german is much "simpler" than high german. i just thought you meant the whole language, but yeh, you're right :)
awe.. but School French... it must be awesome to hear you speak it the French school way :) On the other hand, I'm quite hopeless at pronouncing all you said... (dang French lol)
since i already now hochdeutsch it is quite easy to learn swiss german.i belueve swiss german is much simplified form of german but it acctually it sounds a lot different than hoch deutsch
@jitenkthakkar i don't think "simplified form" cuts it really. SG has its own partly quite complex syntax. i'd say that they are related, like spanish and portuguese are, but they are different languages. i wouldn't call either of them simplified :)
i'm gonna make the tongue twister video today :P:P Btw VERY sorry about my comments before, my computer was acting retarded and kept making me post the same comment over and over -.-
@Maryangel24 yupp i saw the reply. merci vielmal :) btw, i just want to let you know that youtube's subtitles for your videos are really off. whenever you're saying german the subtitles say "chairman" lol

MrTheLionKing86 3 weeks ago
@MrTheLionKing86 well, you notice that she didn't grow up speaking Swiss German... so it's probably somewhere in the middle :)
