I use to lease a 06 ss cobalt. I think it was more body style than anything else though. It wasn't supercharge or anything.

@Annihilator1111 I'm sad they ever made an auto for the SS. But wasn't that only on the 2.4 model that they now refer to as the Sport instead?

@ArtworkofaDemise chevy made a 4 dr ss that was an automatic. waste of time thou. a turbo needs to be a stick.

@Annihilator1111 The 'SS' auto was only an option for the 2.4 l engine, now referred to as the Cobalt Sport by GM, having only around 170 hp while the Supercharged and Turbocharged remained under the SS badge and only with 5 speed stick shifts
@ArtworkofaDemise sport only came out in 07. when there was no ss offered. then in 08 they came out with a turbo instead of the supercharger.
