so pretty much... ur horses legs dont actually correspond with any movement gait... walk would have opposites and a 4 beat pace, trot with 2 as the legs alternate. front out back down etc... and canter is a 3 beat pace where the pace is a 3 beat and none of its legs would be in that order... ;)

The beginning is nearly impossible to see what is being drawn and that is the most important part. It shows how to lay down the basics to work from...thats the part I need to see. Sad. End result is great though.

Im pretty sure when horses walk one pair of legs come together.... in other words I think one side of his legs should be close together and his other pair should both be stretched away from his body... could be wrong though

es gibt auch ausnahmen... ich mein jetzt damit dass den pass nicht nur die isis beherrschen. es gibt auch großpferde die das angeboren haben... ^^ meistens handelt es sich dabei aber um "fehlkreuzungen", die aus kreuzungen zw. einem reinrassigen und einem nicht ganz reinrassigen Pferd entstanden sind. (es genügt schon ein minimaler prozentsatz an Isländerblut)...

well if u look at a picture study the picture and once your done with the head take your time with the legs if u go through to quickly they won't turn out the way u want trust me take your time :)

thats an alright horse..although if you dont minde my critique. the hind end is a little too small in comparison to the rest of the horse. also the neck is too thick and the jaw isnt very rounded. and the horse has no withers. otherwise it looks really good!! i like how you did the legs and feet though, i have a hard time making all mine the same size and espically if they are bent..lol

I agree. Good drawing, especially for 3 minutes! One bit of advice - watch the horse's hocks. They look too low. They should be higher up than the horse's knees.

Hi- yea, it needed more light. My i suggest using a darker pencil next time too? Good drawing, it also makes it easier to use circles on his bones and then rub them out, but your horse is very good!

if you don't mind, im goin to critique since you said in your earlier comments that you don't mind. well the chest and the butt are a lil bit outta proportion. The chest is up high and very big. you're legs are awesone. Here's a hint... when you draw a horse, from the horses poll to the withers, from the withers to the highest part of the croup, and the length of the legs should all be the same length... also round out his jaw =)
