nice dude i just ordered some element gears that come with the piston the high speed set for my team mate (of course i get to install them for 20 an hour :) ) would you say hey are good gears ? i was also wondering if you did the work or if you took it to a shop.
ok that was what i was wondering a bought my buddy wants me to put the element high speed setup in his gun and i tell him to buy a super core piston so he doesn't have a problem with stripping but he is a bit cheap and refuses to pay for it so his piston will strip.
good video

I do all the work on my AEGs, element gears are very tough but pistons strip pretty quick, even quicker than systema polycarbonate.

Tell him get a TM piston it will last good 20,000 rounds at 38 rps.

@Maekiii I find the TM piston pretty mediocre, the G&P white piston has been working best for me

whats the actual rounds per second?
ahampe03 3 years ago
measured 30rps

hmm, rof should be higher
i get 27rps with a kwa gearbox on a guarder revolution and 10.8v
have you switched over to deans connectors

Element gears suck, i would recomend changing them. The systema pistons sucks too, itll probably strip on you pretty quick

Yes piston strips every 1-2 month :) , but gears are running good for whole year now :)

So fast? :o Have you corrected the angle of engagement on the piston? And removed the 2nd and 3rd tooth to avoid premature engagement?

yes I did :)

How often you use the gun? I recommend using TM pistons or g&p white pistons, those last really long on highspeed set-ups.

I sold it, but I used it once a week for 5 hours, approximately 20hours per month.
