  • would that all Brits could have that accent/pronunciation - WTH happened to the Aussies, whom I can barely understand?

  • I've always liked Prince Charles, the press gave him far less positive light.

  • his accent is so gorgeous

  • I see sooo much William here.

  • no he isnt god cos he is classist.

  • thank yew, thank yew...

  • prince charles is wonderful

  • that is the only car i ever heard that when you apply the brakes it sounds like birds chirping.

  • Look carefully at his eyes.

  • Prince Charles is God.

  • as horrible as i think he is on a personal/moral level, even i must admit that he IS a terrific prince of wales, a good working royal.

  • The Prince of Wales.....and I'm the King of Old Siam.

  • He's descended from Henry Tudor......Henry VII was a tough, warrior king; I think Charles takes after George IV. And this guy is about as Welsh as I am - the Welsh were trodden underfoot by Edward I and Henry IV. Owain Glyndowr was a Welshman, David Ap Griffud was Welsh. The Prince of Wales is a disingenous title created by English kings for their sons.

  • @BullRun1861

Constitutional Monarchy (and in France, Absolute Monarchy) is what changed the role of Kings. All Kings were Warriors until absolutism took hold. While I wouldn't call todays warriors true Kings of old, they do at least serve in the military.

  • He looks like a character from peanuts :P

haha I love his voice! OMG I bursted into tears laughing when I heard him say his first couple words. My sides hurt now!

Look at those ears! He probably picks up radio stations from the other side of the world with those babies!

  • can anybody say if England is as beautiful as my aunt told me?

    thanks

  • I didn't realize how much the Prince of Wales looked like his mother when he was younger. I see the resemblance in his eyes.

  • He is not good looking as Prince Andrew.

  • I wonder if he has even ever paid a sales tax on any item in his life ?

  • OMG he looks like the guy on Mad Magazine!! lol

  • he looks animated, doesn't he?

  • Only one question?.. the englands really need Kings??

  • It's funny but now 40 years later he's grown into his features and ears! His ears don't look too bad now at all because he's filled out so much but he isn't fat by any means...

  • My, what big ears you have. He looks so frail. He looks better in old age.

  • @dylanpitt NOT MUCH BETTER!!

  • clip is edited

  • He looks like the little man on Mad Magezine. Anyone else think so?

  • Apparently he sent a letter to Mad Magazine as a child complaining about them making fun of him for that very reason.

  • YES.

  • What year is this? You can really see how his voice changed his voice is so much deeper now.

  • 1910.

  • I love this early glimpse of a man who would forever love humanity.

Proud to stand behind HRH and await the news of his next wonderful action.

There are many good things about having a King and a true leader.

  • You can see where Harry got his blushing cheeks from.

  • Harry got his "blushing cheeks" from James Hewitt.

  • @sail1948

He doesn't look like James. He looks like Charles.

  • @sail1948 Mayby, not impossible.

  • i see alot of his boys in him..they both take his young looks.. minus the satelite ears...

  • @thisrainykitten no not really, depends in which states you're brought up in.

  • Its interesting seeing him moving his hands when he speaks. He doesn't do that anymore.

  • @thisrainykitten If you think that's strange to watch, then look for elizabeth's coronation in 1952!

  • this guy is like 70 years old now why is he still a prince.?I don't understand why he isn't King. Does England even have a King? Is it because his mom is stil alive?

  • when his mum is dead he will be king

  • Yeah how long will that be, 10-20 years?

  • hahahahahahaha

  • As an American, this is very strange to listen to. July 4th 1776 a wonderful day in history!

  • The whole things is rather sad. Not so much for the poor sod that has to play the role of Prince but the rest of us who stand idly by while this bad taste pantomine is being played.

  • Ahhhh, the commentator made a mistake. One is not a direct descendant of Henry VIII, as his children had no hiers. So how can this be? This leaves on feeling a bit muddled. Must be time for ones meds. Toodley pip!!

  • Charles is NOT a DIRECT DECENDANT of Henry VIII !! Henry's ONLY son died as a child. How the hell can he claim direct decendancy?????????? He's a decendant of Mary Queen of Scotts! Whom by the way was mad, need I say more?

  • As I see it: Prince Charles is in charge of Thoughts Conceptualization Management: What that is: is this: On a given College course he collects all the books needed for that specific course--and gathers them before him--bearing in mind its placement of use in a given semester--then he adds or promotes a text book concurrent with today's demand to supplement a given semester. And most importantly--he insures that each student have in their possession an Unabridged Dictionary. old&new version.

  • Maybe it's not unknow, maybe you just don't know it?

  • its very strange lol

  • Prince Charles born in the same year as me and i adore this period, it reminds me of my time at university as a top maths stream student in my country doing engineeringa nd of cause Prince charles doing hisory of architecture, i guess. But it does not matter to us att hat time, what mattered was what was he saying and i loved Prince's independent mind those days. I could say Prince was ahead of his contemporaries in many aspects like the charity Prince's Trust.

  • wow i can see duncan construction is going well, i mean, his rich!

  • You guys coulda had a monarchy... if you hadn't kicked them out all those years back. Now the closest thing you have are the rich folk who live in the Hamptons.

  • he's got nice coloring...

  • Sincerity, decency, talent of the future leader.

  • Frank Garrett?

  • He said 'dual sort of upbringing', not jewel.

  • in my next life if gods want it ,i wont mind been a royal blood, lol

  • this is a business interview get off of it!

  • Lucky hes not prince of Russia or he'd still be driving today.I can also see the resembalence to Henry the 8 very striking indeed

  • Is he straight?

  • Henry Tudor Became king of England because his wife was

the daugter of the king of england

  • he was a good looking man back then besides those ears ofcourse

  • He's a good bloke, try his Duchy Originals...Delicious!!!!

  • Wow his hair was nearly blond... How old was he when it got darker?

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • Prince Charles is a good bloke.

  • what's a "jewel sort of upbringing"?

  • i thought he said a DUAL sort of upbringing... but i could be wrong...

  • I'm sorry, but I busted out laughing as soon as he opened his mouth. That is one of the clearest, elegant, Englishy voices I've ever heard, EVER. The way he said "particular" in the beginning had my nose running. And he can hear the world with those set of ears. Epic.

  • Absolutely brilliant response ! He's got quite the unusual voice doesn't he? If he weren't such a womanizer, I'd think he's gay. I still can't decide who's got bigger ears though...Prince Charles, or former American president George W. Bush ! :)

  • lol u can tell its im. lol hes soooo posh.

  • "sympathy for the people" lol
