@truthnowlieslater If you mixed alt and country together, this is pretty much the sound you'd get. Are you just one of those people with an unreasonable hatred of country? Because there is some pretty good stuff up in that genre. You probably at least like the Avett Bros, and they're a similar mix of country and alt (ish).

Was at Iota's (one of the few bars in the Clarendon area where you could still smoke indoors after 11 p.m) in Arlington, Va back in '08 when I go to light up a much needed cigarette (I had just downed about 14 Heinekens and two Tom Collins over the course of 12 minutes) and am told that at the request of the nights performing act there would be no indoor smoking, not even after 11.
