  • perhapy, try to only shorten the "beat-loop" by the looplenght button or otherwise, only the melo, the whobble... :D If your not a thumb down cklicking nerd, feel free to look at my vids. ;-) Clicking like is not a must, but, i like, if you like it. greetz from germany.

  • I love how it says "bo55" at the top in the beginning =D

  • nice bro this is pretty good

  • whats the bpm?

  • @sktrmns6 140

  • Hello, i would like to buy a Kaoss pad 3, by what i've heard the Kaossilator Pro is made for beatmaking and device-internal stuff.

I want to buy a Kaoss pad 3 with a mic to record my beatbox and saxophon playing. Is the Kaoss pad 3 also able to create sounds like the Kaossilator pro?

  • @Saydiil That i do not know but you can look on korg's website. I found that to be very helpful when i was looking at the KPRO

  • @Boulderboy203 Okay, I'll do that thank you :-)

  • @Saydiil the kaoss pad, or kp3 has some synth sounds but is an effects processor, not synthesizer. i hope that clears it up

  • @x3C40x So I would rather use the KP3 for saxophone/beatboxing ( you know, i mix that^^)

  • @Saydiil yes def, i'm about to go buy one myself.

  • @x3C40x Kay, ty :-)

  • @Saydiil nahh the kp3 can only make sounds recorded onto it sound different.....but still it is a beast of a machine

  • @Saydiil the kaoss pad is primarily used to modulate beats and samples. the kaossilator is more for creating synth lines and beats and such.

  • i like how the camera is moving, cuz your getting into it lol

  • Pretty neat stuff! Love it. Did u use the vocoder?

  • BOSS

  • The best way to make the bass nice and wobby is using low pass filters.

  • you arent supposed to drop beats that heavy on children, they could get hurt

  • not really dubstep but good none the less

  • ahah, love how the beat screen says "bOSS" xD

  • @cheecka33 yeah. well it has different sections of patches, b stands for bass line and it's patch number "055". I thought the same thing though :D

  • this doesn't work too well musically

  • when i do live shit with my KOPro everyone gets hyped on the lfo didge. nice beat

  • very nice

  • sick, very well done thank you for actually bothering to learn the pad, before paosting a video,

  • dude sweet! This is incredible! I make music on my Kaossilator, Kaoss Pad, and Microkorg on my channel, but i'm not nearly as good as you...how long have you had a kaossilator?

  • @NojoJams thanks! ive had it since about september of 2010 but this was made about 2 weeks after i got it

  • @Boulderboy203 then you went back in time and posted this vid on Jun 23, 2010... fucking amazing man... you are fucking amazing!

  • @Boulderboy203 september 2010? it says u uploaded this in june 2010

  • Dude this is a dope song!! Keep up the good works thanks for showing us how to control the loop shorter with the shift key.

  • Thanks for the kokopro upload^^

  • @Rakdyne of course it can be sampled. By what means of how you want to do it is the question. The Kaossilator pro can sample it self and you could sample a kaossilator with another kaossilator pro or kp3 (as other Kaoss products) or whatever else that samples an input.

  • @Rakdyne it depends on what you're looking to do. if u want to modulate a synth you already have or just a vocoder, get a KP3. if u want a looper/sampler/synthesizer, get a kaossilator pro. i personally would have gotten an EMX myself or a roland Gaia SH-01

  • @Boulderboy203 if you need a sampler deffo go for the kp3 instead of the kaossilator. the kaospad is more designed to be a sampler and has better functionallity for it ;)

  • @Rakdyne it can be sampled to an external source, yes

  • How'd you get that beautiful wobble? do you remember the tempo/which sound it was

  • @th3th0mas program 48 and its nothing to do with the tempo. the y axis controls the wobble while the x axis controls the pitch

  • @Boulderboy203 hey another question, is this a good buy? could i make a lot of beats on this thing? or would i be better off with a keyboard, drum pad and a controller, ill prob buy a controler anyway but yeah

  • @th3th0mas you would be better off getting either an EMX or a midi controler. korg has some sweet nano controllers that are really cheap and line six makes a phenomenal one called the POD Studio KB37. it comes with some awesome software like ableton live, reason, riff works, and line six's POD farm

  • @getthegdilife yeah thats exactly how you do it

  • just got one today. how and what are you doing with the Program/BPM knob?

  • @Dirtbikeboymac basically cutting the loop from 16 beats down to 8 beats then to 4 beats then to 2 beats then to 1 beat then to an 8th note to a 16th note to a 32nd note back to 16 beats in the loop. u can do so by hitting the shift key and any one of the loop banks. once one loop bank is selected, you can keep just that one selected or any combination of the four and change the length of the selected loop banks by using the program/bpm knob.

    hope that helped

  • if the wobble was done in a lower octive i think it would sound better. howd u do it tho im getting one for christmas nd i wantd to make dubstep on it

  • @zakisbomb55 thats the didgerdoo setting i believe its 48 and the wobble modulation is controled by the Y axis and the pitch, like most settings, is effected by the X axis

if u wanna make dub, i think u should get an EMX instead. steep learning curve tho

  • @Boulderboy203 the learning curve for the EMX isnt that steep, i had the emx last christmas and by boxing day i finished a cover of entershikari SYNAW and by the end of january i made a few songs which are on my channel. i just watched loads of EMX videos on here which helped me alot!

  • that was a good attempt at making interesting dubstep on the kaossilator... just an idea with your grimey basslines problem

sample a bassline from external audio? having mine hooked up to my vst's etc with a line in gives me infinite sound possibilities...

    just a thought

  • how did u do the part on the kaosillator when u did the beat repeat

    i just go one
