great to see how a radio station, also on HF antennas in order to modulate from 160 meters to 10 meters and 6 meters. I have recently entered this wonderful world of radio, but I have little ability to pay but really want to do. I wish I could make the contest with America and around the world chgiedo information to you that you are a pilot of the frequencies that make antenna to make a one-off fee and you are in attendance. Without knowing your budget, it is hard to say. I saw many FT897s in Beijing, they felt it was a good radio value for the money. Randy

My budget is like some where from $50-$200. Im looking for a handheld. I heard Icom was good.

Icom is wonderful all my equipment is ICOM except for my ht. Here is a good 2m only moblie/base radio
