Its a bear we used to live in Bella Coola and we heard sasquatch howls all the time and its the weirdest sound you've ever heard, non of the recordings I've heard come close to the sound it is indescribable and its a screech and howl combination it basically sounds like nothing else in nature, this was a bear grunt.

I heard a story on coast to coast am radio, from a guy who said he ran into a family of bigfoots. and he tried to communicate with them but didnt have much luck obviously... but he said they weren't hostile at all. Maybe you have no reason to be afraid of them. If you can make contact with one and form a relationship by leaving things for them, that's awesome. maybe if you treat them with respect, they wont feel the need to defend themselves.

I lived in Alberta for a long while, it was common during my drives in the mountains to come across bears eating berries at the side of the road, this sounds exactly like what I heard when I stopped to watch them. I think its a bear personally.

Yes, that does sound very similar to a male lion, but it also sounds EXACTLY like what I heard in a provincial park in BC Canada while flyfishing. Twice in two days. The second time I was alone at a bridge for about a half hour with nobody to be seen, and when I stepped off the bridge, from close inside the woods, I heard it again. It had been right there watching me, and hearing it stepping in the woods as I continued down the road to the campground cancelled out anything four legged.

Ok, the grunt you got recorded at 26 seconds is identical to what Ron Moorehead recorded in 1974 in the sierra nevada mountains. If you search YT here for bigfootsounds ran together like that and listen at 56 seconds, you'll hear the same grunt in a recording done over 30 yrs prior to yours. It's a fainter recording so turn your volume up a bit, but there's independent corroberation for you.

heres the deal. This was from 2006 - before I had night vision. The microphone was the best I could do - and it was a $300 dollar mike sitting under my car, on the ground so it picked up footsteps real well. Hooked up to a $500 preamp which was plugged into my computer sitting on the passenger seat beside me. I was asleep behind the wheel. This spot I had been leaving BF gifts, - food - bic lighters -pictures and had yielded sightings for numerous colleagues becasue of my actions
