For starters, Japan doesn't allow dual citizenship for adults. Second, unless at least one of your parents is Japanese you won't be allowed to be Japanese at birth.
That's cool.. I hope you continue doing your videos, even though I'm sure England doesn't have as much as Japan when it comes to weird foods and such.
Nah, I'm sure by then I'll be doing lifecasting or something like that. It'll be creepy. Although...it's actually unlikely that I'd be abe to do lifecasting if I get what I want. But definitely plan to keep making videos. No reason not to. I'll still be away from my family and friends in the US. ^_^;
I do think it's pretty creepy...because I'm just talking about me and how glasses/contacts relate to my identity. It does boggle my mind a little that anyone who hasn't met me (or I suppose even those who have) would want to know that sort of thing. Dunno.
In any case, if I actually cared or thought it was creepy enough I'd have emailed the video to Monica directly. ^_~
3:29pm. It's my day off...and I was at an interview for some extra work in another section of my company this morning. Yay for going to Shinjuku and having the offer in my email box by the time I got home. ^_^
Apologize for the ignorance. I have family in Russia, so I'm used to calculating 8 hours ahead and them always being ahead of me. So not only did I not think thank Japan would be that much more ahead, but also didn't realize that it was that late here! oops
Aha. It all makes sense. And I never would've guessed you had family in Russia, from your name (Russian Five from the Detroit Red Wings taught me how to recognize if nothing else...yay growing up near Detroit was useful). ^_~
Yeah.. I moved to the US with my parents in 1991, but the entire Mom's side of the family is still there. There are obviously huge culture differences, which makes your videos fascinating to me because I'm curious about (and can somehow relate to) how it feels to start living in such a different country.

Japan is extremely protective of its citizenship and doesn't like to give it out.

Very cool of you to help out Monica with her project. Thumbs up!
p.s. nothing creepy about non-Monicas watching, especially people that admit so ;-) It's those that aren't commenting - those are the creepy ones!

My thought exactly... if it was something THAT personal, you wouldn't have posted it for the whole world to see in the first place.
btw... what time is it in Japan??? I didn't think you'd be up right now.

Wow.. it's 1:30am here. Congrats on the offer. Hope it works out for you!

You didn't know that? 14 hours ahead of Eastern time, 13 in the summer (no daylight savings here). What were you expecting?

Makes sense. I don't plan to stay here *that* long though. If I get my way I'll be moving to England next. ^_^;
