@jickopik Before she died? She got really skinny and DID look anorexic I would say a few years before that, and even she said she thought she got too small. I thought she actually looked healthy in the months before her passing, at least in terms of her size. But she also did just suffer the horrible loss of her son, it wouldn't surprise me if she wasn't eating either...

I loved anna, she can be bossy at times, but i can tell she liked making people laugh.

but when she was heavy set there, you know howard didnt control her there yet. she was all smiley and bouncey!. when he started too control her. she lost alot of weight and she wasnt happy any more.

She was a great mother despite what people say about her. When she wanted to be, she could actually be quite eloquent. She knew the joke was on her, so she gave people what they wanted. She knew how to stay in the spotlight. She donated to numerous charities. She sent a message to women to love their bodies.

I disagree. I think he was trying to help her during the most difficult time in her life. That's why he was only found guilty of the two least serious charges against him. The jury saw it the same way. But I strongly agree she is missed.

He is the first person in the U.S or Canada to be charged as an "enabler"....if every enabler were charged there would be mothers, wives, friends, every day. @iloveannanicole Howard K. Stern was her lawyer. That is very different than a parent, sibling, or friend. What he did was wrong ,ethically, morally and legally. He financially gained from her. Maybe there was no money at the time, but there was a multi-million dollar lawsuit pending. The potential of a lawyers fee on half a billion dollars is a pretty big motivation to keep somebody drugged up and under control.

As far as I'm concerned if he wanted her money it was in his better interest to not have her drugged up. I'm sorry, but I'll never believe the things people are saying about Stern. Maybe it was wrong for him to enter into a relationship with her as her lawyer but you can't help who you fall for....I don't think he had anything to do with keeoing her drugged up, and it looks like the court is soon going to rule that way as well.

I think you are right to an extent. I don't think he should be charged with it. He is the first person ever to be charged as an enabler...and no one would ever think to charge the people on Intervention, for example. Also, she DID need the meds, but overused them, and he was no doctor. I am on meds, and it's nobody's responsibility or choice even (aside from doctors) but my own to decide how much I take. I think it was a tragic mistake. She was overmedicating the loss of her son.

I think he kept her stoned and I betcha that he looted her bank accounts, performed all sorts of financial malfeasence (sorry...I didn't word that correctly, but you get my gist). Well, I think that, in her case, to elevate the 'bimbo bombshell' factor to an almost ridiculous level was always the secret of her success, and she knew very well how to work that, thin or fat. I think it was successful, because even I adored her that way.  But, anyway, it's rather sad to see her so euphoric there, possibly under the effect of some of the narcotics provided by her "attorney". Such a leech, that Howard.

you can't say for sure whether howard was the one totally responsible for her death because of the prescription drugs. i mean, he didn't shove them down her throat or force her to take them. i don't think he had that sort of power like everyone thinks he did. she obviously enjoyed getting messed up and suffered the repercussions. but i think that she was amazingly beautiful and sexy and i'd love to look like her!
