As others have pointed out, though, this isn't actually a Sarah Brightman song. It was written by Lisa Gerrard and Andrew Claxton. It was originally released on the Dead Can Dance live album "Toward The Within" and later on Lisa Gerrard's solo album "The Mirror Pool".

I seriously expected this video to be a laugh, but the manner in which you managed to perform this song is.. just astoundingly surprising. Pleasantly surprising. It has a feeling that's a universe away from the song in its original form, but it seems so pure, so unconventional and "right." Its hard recording when singing in a higher octave. Have to be careful not to distort the sound which sucks. Hopefully one day I will get better equipment!

I would sing with more projection but my cheap my distorts if I do. So I usually never belt out or sing with a lot of projection. There are a bunch of songs that are in keys that are more than an octave over sanvean....but I just need better equipment.

mainly sanvean, as iam a singer myself ive sung along wi your version a few times, doing more of a lisa style. as you will prob realise other than voice there are a few changes to the melody in sarahs version and so dueting with hers or yours creates quite a dramatic effect shame we cant try it out ! cheers :-)
