When I heard that Level 42 had split up in the early 90's, it was a shocker! To see them playing again, is incredible! Yes, I'd like to see Phil and Boon back, but this is what we have now, and they are great!! Keep it going guys...
Thanx for posting this, trying to get my kids to listen to this music as this was an era when people actuall played intruments and COULD SING WITHOUT THE VOICE ALTERING EQUIPMENT and the words made sense LOL
yes i think Nathans at least 10-12 yrs younger then Mark .. he had to 'grow up ' but he excellent on the guitar :) . it's 'Running in The Family' with the King brothers ;) !
lmao, Nathan is a class of its own. Nathan is tHE man.
Yes, i did understand the sarcasm :P
So, Mark King is own leaugue too. I have seen him live several times, i.e. one of Level 42 's gigs back in the 80's. I have seen em there in Esssen Germany, lol i remember Mark and his combat outfit with some doc martins :-)
Great video, saw them Royal Albert Hall. Nice to hear Starchild , Love Games and lots of great jamming! Welcome back Mike...where's Boon and Phil? I think the new Album is a return to form..keep it up Mark..!!
I saw them Cafe de Paris, Cliffs, and Royal Albert Hall, every performance magnificent. I would say the Cliffs had some of the most dedicated fans, who really appreciated Mike being there.
I saw them last night at the Albert Hall. For those who are yet to see them live, you wont be disappointed. Sun Goes Down (Living it up) was my favourite..
level 42 starchild what can i say amazing to see mike lindup back with level 42, they are not really level 42 without him saw him at the lowry in manchester last week best concert ever highlight was starchild long my level 42 tour cant wait for next time
had the honour of meeting them at the beeb back in the late 80,s, had my piccy with them and they signed my guaranteed cd, only downside, i was wearing a deacon blue t shirt, what a t*@t
Hey thanks for putting this on. This proves that Level 42 are still one of the hottest bands around.
I'm trying to get tickets for their forthcoming gig in Bristol. Fantastic that Mike is back and wouldn't it be even more fantastic if the Gould brothers could be prised out of their retirements. Come on Mark, have a word with them!
Another great night at the Cliffs. Great to see Mike back in there... And mark king's bass playing still gives the old goose bumps, 20 odd years after first seeing the boys do it there!!
