@dadvoc666 What about 3 mile island? Did you know that the remaining nuclear reactor at three mile island is still producing electricity? Did you know that they didn't shut down the last Unit of Chernobyl until year 2000, nearly 15 years after one of the units exploded? Yea, we've all forgotten about TMI because its no big deal, except that the power company is out millions of dollars. They made the money they lost in the accident in about a month of running the other unit.

@rumorecurioso Yep, also don't get an xray or a CT scan or an Upper GI or any other form of nuclear medicine. Xrays don't involve an uptake, but most imaging require that you ingest radioactive substances. But, hey, sombody's gotta look our for your health.

They can't pour concrete because it would literally turn to vapor. You have to understand that a nuclear reaction is a mini piece of the sun in some ways. What happens if a solid rock goes near the sun...it melts.

All it'll do is keep sinking and eventually stop...but slowly kill everyone on the surface.

@kb826062871 If you melt 5% enriched uranium, and you just let it sit there, it does nothing except reharden. An explosion occurs when you compress enriched uranium at 80% with about the force of a gun shot. I would say sitting in a crack would not cause anything like an explosion. IT would be even more amazing if this stuff melted through nearly a foot of stainless steel and 4 feet of high density concrete reinforced with rebar as thick as your arm. Sorry to cancel your doomsday parade.
