my god man! those gears are just about finished! it sounds like a friggin bulldozer! i had the omnibot 2000 the week it came out!!i was the first kid in my town to have one!and i assure you, it aint supposed to sound like that!! geesh!! that bot needs tlc,new gears and lube. but robotics have come a long way since then.i wonder how far it could be modified with a new more sophisticated brain,stronger,faster gears,more complex functions.hhhmmmmm?

i drooled at every toy store in the uk for this , hamleys and toys are us in the newcastle area,they went for around 500 pounds back then ,he is so great , he was also on the credits of short circuit 2 ,i have his omnibot first edition , boxed but i cant find which battery to replace the rechargable , anyone know

I can remember wanting an Omnibot so badly. Instead my parents got my brother a Verbot (cheaper voice activated robot from the same line). I was jealous. Now seeing this I think I may have romanticized Omnibot's capabilities a bit. *laughs* Well, I was 4 at the time...

I never thought he'd be quite so noisy. Or sluggish. *laughs* I still like his look though.
