dude my peak don't work any more. It was fine the other day but now regardless how many new tabs I have open I see only 1 in taskbar when I go over with the mouse and it is not picture but just tab like windows xp. ANy thoughts.

if you dont believe me then buy a new windows 7 pc format it put 3 patitions on it 1 for windows 7 1 for windows xp pro 1 for your shit you will see in a few days,after the updates that xp pro takes a whole less disk space and runs on less mem then windows 7 and runs a whole lot faster. i only would use it if i wanted to play a direct x 10 or 11 game but like i said they can make that for xp aswell they just want to scam you ,and sell new stuff.

no direct x 11 on Mac's (i think) there are not many games on Mac like on PC, but there are a lot, but you can install windows on a Mac.

@ImmortalUniverse DirectX is fail, only windows uses it. Everyone else uses OpenGL which is twice as powerful and takes less power out of your processor.

Open gl cost twice as many calculations so direct x is faster .

DirectX is not faster, there is no way to prove that. Well look at the standards first, only Windows use DirectX and no one else cause everyone else knows how bloated DirectX is, its just Microsofts monopoly on games, they have the game industry so locked down with their directX, same with consoles, only xbox use directX, Playstation, wii and all those others dont.

if i paly cod mw with open GL its slow and looks les beautifull.

if i run with d3d its fast and looks better .

@ImmortalUniverse Well of course it does, all graphics card supports it cause there in Macs as well. I don't know what exacly you did to switch between them to, but playing MW2 in a Mac is just as good if not better than a PC, graphics don't suffer one bit, I've seen Mass Effect 2 on highest setting on an iMac and the graphics looked far better then anything Ive ever seen, the problem ur describing is nowhere to be seen, except on your, ehm.. PC

@ImmortalUniverse Plasma is a thing of the past your living in the past man, LED is the way of the future. What do you mean what do they use? Full HD is 1080p right? An iMac screen goes up to 2560x1440, pixel density like just doesnt exist on normal screens, LED takes less power and gives a more bright display and its got IPS tech which means even better pixels from every angle

I can agree that some LED TV sucks, but iMacs screens are a thing of beauty, if you've been infront of one youll know what I mean. pioneer is a thing of the past.. :D joke

@Nnemicvids sorry i removed my comment ,i was'nt paying attention . you were talking about LED and you got me confused with LCD :) your right Plasma is a thing of the past when it comes to LED tv's but im not ready to pay that kinda money yet. im a poor guy right now . i bought the plasma when i had better times , and 1440 p is cool ,but 1080p will do just fine for me. in fact i run most games on 720p 1216 x 684 ,cause i dont have a new hd grafics card . mine is already 3 years old

no support for my pinnacle 400 e pctv card .

sounblaster driver keeps on failing on old card ..

ai booster doesnt run properly.

battlefield 2 does work but keeps kicking me because of punkbuster.

and all of this is no problem on my xp machine .

so it still sucks ,it needs more support
