  • I LIKED IT

  • its a quote from v for vendetta, 'cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression'

  • Oh this part of youtube

  • what was the original audio

  • Oh dear...

  • wtf was that did megatron yawn or something

  • crulntagunanonaleedufesion HAHAHAHA

  • if i had a penny for every sentence i heard i would have one penny

  • a bit more then 10 seconds dude.

  • FRANK WELKER SHOULD SLAP YOUR MOMMA!! FRANK IS A BETTER VOICE TALENT THAN PETER CULLEN. ENUFF SAID.

  • I like Hugo Weaving just not as Megatron.

  • wtf

  • garbage

  • He sounds like one of the Guild off DUNE.

  • Is this supposed to be funny?

  • that was just AWFUL, no offence, but I just couldn't for the life of me make out what he was saying. To me it was a load of garbled nonsense and then evil laughter. WTH.

  • yeah, you better censor comments, dipshit. This was terrible.

  • nobody worries if you die.... really

  • dude...that sucked. i didn't hear anyone's voice, just a laugh. I can only assume that you did that on purpose. It was that bad.

  • LMFAO!

who's seen Earth Girls Are Easy?

With Jim Carrey, & Jeff Goldblum?

It sounds like zeebo or wiploc

  • I think Frank's place as the only REAL Megatron is pretty safe after hearing this.

  • L.A.F. (lame as fuck)

  • Frank Welker Is the only true voice of Megatron.

  • Leonard Nimoy too but its true THE first that I want as megatron its Frank Welker

  • Nimoy did Galvatron

  • that was only in Animated movie.

  • Yes I know, welker did his voice in the series.

  • Seriously. I mean, if Bay didn't want Welker, he should've at least gotten David Kay (Megs from BW and UC)

  • At least they got him to do Soundwave in TF2. I thought his voice is the best it has ever been. labelashavoc

  • I agree there about getting him for TF2. Hopefully I get to see it today.

  • It is a very good movie to see. I give it *****. Write me anytime- labelashavoc (:~>?=

  • and has yes in every line he speeks???

    hell no!

  • He only did that in Beast Wars. He didn't in The Unicron Chronicles.

  • Sorry but those voices will not fit the body of this megatron its like puting welkers voice in beast wars megatron....and its not menacing or scay enough for this megatron..or better yet its like trying to cut a tomato with a chain saw

  • maybe. I'll know more once I actually get to see tf2.

  • Your wrong, try playing ROTF the game, Frank Welker does a great job as ever in it voicing Megatron. Megatron doesn't have to be scary, he is supossed to be SINISTER and EVIL. Megatron being "scary" was just Bay being Bay and screwing up Megatron with a non-voice actor.

  • It was too muffled. I could bearly hear it.

  • This has just won the Award for this Week's

    Epic Fail!!!!

  • @IsEvthreader

    Awesome!!

    What did you get??

Charlie Brown: I got a rock

  • ..........o.......k.....?

  • lol so shit

  • This video is Ducking Ship!

  • Shithouse.

  • wtf was that

  • this is lame

  • FAILURE

  • eh?

  • How did this lame shit get over 30k views? WTF?

  • Very much agree with you quantaleaper.

  • wtf did he say!??!?!

  • LOL oh GOD? wtf is this?

  • i didn't understand one fucking word of that

  • Megatron was always a classy sort of decepticon... sure I like what they did to his design and his attitude is roughly the same though a lot harder

  • Was that V for Vendetta?

  • I think Welker's movie Game Megatron sounds darker and more evil than the G1 Version.

  • his voice has aged

  • sounds nothing like megatron

  • Bay only aired the amazing Cullen to please the fans. It was a compromise on his part. Welker was not aired as Bay has no love for TF at all. To the people that say Welker is too old I say listen to Welker voice the Megatron toy in Robot Chicken. He sounds the same as he did in the 80s.

  • Actually he does sound a LITTLE older in that Robot Chicken sketch, but so what? Who do you think would be scarier; the older, seasoned veteran, or the young and inexperienced rookie? :P

  • Megatron is depicted as a beastly robot and welker's voice wont fit in plus if you dumbass play the Transformers game you will know Welker's past his prime now , he sound like he is sick.

  • Megatron was NEVER beastly. Why should he be for the movie?

  • cause he's supposed to be the harbature of death... thats why -_- he aint meant to be a jackass that looses all the time cause his plans are retarded and flawed... he's meant to have killed MILLONS of bots... so he's gotta have a BEASTLY voice

  • Hitler killed millions of people, but HE wasn't a bestial monster. And even if Megatron was (which he NEVER was), why cast Hugo Weaving in such a mindless role? He's always done calmer, intellectual types. He'd be a good casting choice for Megatron, had the writers actually written him correctly.

  • Peter cullen was the only reason why the movie made money, welker should have been invited back to rerpise, hell if they disguised hugo weavings vocals, why couldn't they do the same to welker?

  • Got that right. Cullen was the reason I went to see the film FOUR times!!! As for Welker--Soundwave for part II!!!

  • cuz michael bay SUX

  • Needs more camera shaking imo...

    /cry

    /wrist

  • Think they'll make megatron galvatron in the next movie? And hell yeah it should be Frank welker doing the voice of mgatron!!

  • if Galvatron was voiced by Welker it'd sorta make sense. like death was so painful his voice sounds like that.

  • Maybe in the next film when Megs comes back, presumably in an Earthen form, we might get Welker back and Megatron looking more like Megatron ( unlikely i know ) And i still get the feeling Bay would have prefered someone other than Peter Cullen ( like a big name actor ) doing Primes voice.

  • I think the guy who did prime's voice sounded like the cartoon's version.

  • That's cause it is the same guy

  • yea, it was peter cullin

  • Ben Assleck! Noooooooooooooo!

  • Kannebas, no need to feel slighted, you are obviously a great G1 fan... the proof is in your knowledge in this genre. I did not mean to sound noninclusive. You say Bay wanted to distinguish this Megatron from the original Megatron and felt that it would be wrong to make Welker voice the character differently? Then i see Bays Feelings as wrong...Then Why not distinguish This Optimus prime from the original Optimus?

  • At least Welker got to reprise his rightful role as Megatron in the game. Frank Welker is the main reason I liked Megatron. Welker gave life to the very character that was megatron. There is no justification in bays feeling that Megatrons voice does not fit Megatron.

  • Welker didn't not fit the new Megatron; the new Megatron didn't fit WELKER. >:D

  • Hmmm....

    Bobzeaux-

Yes indeed. I think I can accept that. With my stubbornness temporarily ovated, your comment has given me some peace. Thank you. :)

  • Hell, the new Prime barely fit Cullen. :S

  • "eat shit purple barney fan fag"

And of course instead of simply debating a negative opinion, you childishly insult the person who said it. Typical. Read what you just wrote and tell me why opinion should either be changed or kept to myself.

Yes, Frank COULD fit any Megatron. With very little effort, who could have taken David Kaye's place for the subsequent Megatrons. At least he wouldn't be a completely wasted effort like Weaving was.

  • please i am who wrote it i got two screen name this one and babyglock i saw the movie and i was disappointed no frank welker or authetic imperssonater f&^$k micheal bay hugo was a waste of money if bay goona make another movie better have welker as megatron

  • Cullen getting cast as Prime in the movie was a result of Bay caving in to the overwhelming popular demand to have Cullen reprise the role.

  • Saw the movie... still think Welker should have had the part. Not Agent Smith. I cannot be convinced otherwise.

  • Did you notice how the Decepticons' voices seemed to be more digitally altered than the Autobots'? I instantly recognized everyone who played the Autobots, but when I heard Barricade speack, I was like, "Is that really Keith David?". I only recognized Weaving's voice when Megatron said, "Give me that cube boy!", "You fight for the weak. That is why you lose.", "Is it fear or courage that compels you.", and "No, it's just me Prime!"...

  • Actually, Keith David voiced Barricade in the video game while somebody else entirely differant voiced Barricade in the movie. I was dissapointed since I wanted to hear Keith David in the movie. Personally, I though Hugo Weaving did a good job as Megatron. Even though his voice was warped a bit, you could still tell it was Hugo by the manner that Megatron spoke sometimes. Prefferably "Is it fear or courage that compels you boy".

  • Well, that would explain that. I just read that Jess Harnell, the voice of Ironhide, was the one who did Barricade in the movie...

  • Not only that, because of scheduling conflicts between both parties, Welker was only able to send a recording of him saying a couple of lines from the script. That clearly doesn't qualify for a real audition. I'm not trying to convince you. You don't have to like it. But I hope this gives you some pieces to the puzzle.

    Galvatron: Only Galvatron leads...! *uppercut*

  • Good points. Im not saying Hugo did a bad job. I just didnt feel it was Megatron. During the final epic 1 on 1 dialogue between Megs and Prime, the nostalgia for us G1 fans was killed as soon as Megatron spoke. If F. Welker sounds too "80s" Why would Pete Cullen not sound too "80s" too. its all opinion...

  • While I feel a little slighted for your implication that I'm somehow not a G1 fan, the reason Peter Cullen wouldn't sound "too 80s" is because of his deep voice. Frank Welker gets gigs for what he can do with his voice, where as Cullen gets gigs for what his voice does. While the movie is heavily based on the G1 universe, Bay wanted to distinguish this Megatron from the original Megatron and felt that it would be wrong to make Welker voice the character differently...

  • Is that you, Megatron?

    Heres a hint!*fusion cannon*

  • hahahahahahahhahahahahahaha rofl

  • I can't even understand what he's saying.

  • Stop. Stop using YouTube. Stop right now.

  • That's awful

  • What? what he say?

  • Awfull!! Just ... Awfull! You truly are an anus!

  • Ha ha, that was a funny comment - from a sphincter.

  • HEHE, agreed, can't understand him too well, but cool idea. Thanks, glad you did this. I think Weaving will make an awsome movie version of Megatron aswell. He freakin' ruled as Agent Smith.

Theres a rumor though that Welker is still in the running to play another of the Tranformers though. I'd like to see him play Ironhide.

  • Good idea. I've been wanting to do the same thing. Could have been better, though. Try raising Weaving's volume and putting a little less effects on it and upload another.

  • You're not the boss of me!

Just kidding. You're right, I'll do that tonight.

  • @herrin No you won't.

  • Umm, that was way over-processed. I couldn't make out what he was saying at all.

  • eh, what can you do. I'm not a sound engineer. :) He says "cruelty and injustice, intolerance and opression".

  • I would have loved welker to do the voice, but i think Weaving is the next best choice and I think he will do a good job in bringing Megatron to life.

  • Yeah, I'm with you.

  • Exactly. Not everybody who goes to see the movie will be a fan of the TV show so they would have thought Megatron sounds "gay" or "retarted" had Frank Welker been cast for the movie. I have high hopes for Hugo Weaving as Megatron.

  • "they would have thought Megatron sounds "gay" or "retarted" had Frank Welker been cast for the movie"

That's the stupidest assumption I ever heard.

  • Oh and I suppose every single person that goes to see the movie will be a fan of the cartoons. Spare me! Get it through your head! I find it very interesting that you only addressed that part of my comment instead of the whole thing. You're being selfish and only thinking about yourself. Frank's voice is perfect for a cartoon or video game. But c'mon! This is 2007 and this is a live action film.

  • Again you assume. Besides the rest of your post is opinion and not fact, so there really wasn't anything to address there. I never said that the movies audience would be all fans from the G1 series so stop putting words into my mouth.

  • just for alittle relif for you some reviewers said that weaving is umrecognizable in the voice over, but still I think that welker's voice would not have worked at all cause it sounds cartoony and so much like all the characters from the 80s cartoons.

  • Maybe because of the 80's voice synthesisers? I mean have you heard Welkers more recent take on Megatron's voice, doesn't sound cartoony to me. Still I wonder and am interested in Weaving's take on Megatron.

  • my point was that since he did the voices for fred, and claw and such and such that people propably wont take it as serious as for cullent he only time I heard him is when I watch toonami on cartoonetwork anouncments so there it wont matter to me but all in all the movie is suppose to be good,I see your point

  • Cullen has done Eyore on Winnie the Pooh, IGPX, Duck Tales, and GI Joe, yet he is also in this movie. So I really don't see why voicing in a cartoon, makes any person less serious than any other actor. If anything the many voices Welker did, makes him more experianced as a VA than Weaving really.

  • Guys, calm down. it's just opinions. (Church GCF, I only put this on yours because you were the last in the thread. this is directed to everyone in this conversation). Granted, I agree that they should've either stuck with Welker or Kaye, but Weaving did a great job. And I'm glad that Welker got a chance to do some voices for TF2.

  • wow, and I didn't realize that was sent 2 years ago. Sorry.

  • lol no worries, kinda forgot about this old argument myself.

  • What ????

  • Yep, they cast Hugo Weaving as Megatron in the upcoming movie.

  • No, I think he means "What" as in "What in the hell was he saying, because it was intelligable".

  • eh, what can you do. I'm not a sound engineer. :) He says "cruelty and injustice, intolerance and opression".
